  • Six-person sundeck hot tub
  • 3,222nm cruising range

Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement steel hull and superstructure she features a 8.2m beam and a 3.4m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 266 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Exterior Design

Donna Del Mare has a lovely old-school presence. The high steel hull and upright superstructure give her the feel of a proper long-range cruising yacht, while the sky-blue paint and timber detailing soften what is otherwise quite a substantial 36.5m (119.8ft) profile.

The bow is quite full, with high bulwarks and a long foredeck ahead of the upper accommodation. Round hull ports and the upright windows higher up add to the classic look, while the timber handrails and broad teak decks soften what could otherwise feel quite commercial.

A lot of the yacht's appeal is aft. The main deck has a large dining table under the overhang, with enough width around it for people to move comfortably rather than squeezing past chairs. One level above, there is another substantial lounge with deep seating and plenty of shade, so the aft decks have different uses rather than repeating the same setup.

The stern has changed in recent years. A 2024 refit added a new aft arrangement with ladder access directly to the sea and included a full hull repaint. The swim platform was then reworked again in 2026, which has given Donna Del Mare a much more useful waterside area without trying to turn her into a modern fold-out beach club.

Right at the top, the sundeck is a large open guest space with loungers, dining and the six-person hot tub added during the 2026 refit. It is a simple deck, but there is a lot of room around the furniture and good separation between sunbathing and social areas.

Interior Design

Donna Del Mare's interior is similarly straightforward. The main deck is organised as one long social level, with the saloon and dining areas sharing the same open-plan space rather than being broken up by heavy partitions.

The styling is more traditional than contemporary, which suits the yacht. Timber joinery, lighter upholstery and classic furniture give the interior a warm, lived-in feel rather than a high-gloss hotel look.

One of the more useful parts of the layout is the way the guest accommodation is spread across the yacht rather than concentrated on one deck. The upper-deck owner's area has its own office and direct access to a private outdoor lounge, while the rest of the guest cabins sit lower down.

Accommodation

Donna Del Mare accommodates up to 19 guests in seven suites, with space for up to eight crew.

The owner's suite sits on the upper deck and has a private office as well as direct access to its own deck area. That gives the owner some genuine separation from the main guest spaces below.

The remaining accommodation comprises one VIP and five double cabins, all en suite. The lower accommodation deck carries most of the guest rooms, which is how Donna Del Mare manages such a high guest count within 36.5m (119.8ft).

The plan also keeps crew areas separate from the guest accommodation, with dedicated crew cabins and working spaces grouped away from the main guest routes.

Performance & Capabilities

Donna Del Mare is powered by twin MAN D2866 E diesels producing 450hp each.

Top speed is around 13 knots, while normal cruising speed is about 9 knots. With 24,000 litres of fuel, the yacht has a quoted maximum range of 3,222 nautical miles at 9 knots.

That is a sensible set of numbers for a yacht of this type. She is not trying to be quick. The steel hull, modest power and long-range setup are much better suited to steady cruising and long stays away.

Stabilisers help reduce roll at anchor, while the 2026 addition of a 5kW solar system gives the yacht another useful source of hotel power. On a boat expected to spend long periods sitting at anchor, that can reduce generator running and make the quieter parts of the day a little quieter.

Amenities

Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort. Donna Del Mare also features a deck jacuzzi for cooling off.
