Key Features

  • Main salon with welcoming bar area
  • Timeless design with plush furnishings
  • Sun deck with jacuzzi
  • Four large king-size lower staterooms

Design & Construction

Designed around a semi-displacement aluminium hull and superstructure she features a 10.21m beam and a 2.5m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 782 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Construction started in early 2008. Launched in November 2011 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in June 2012.

Exterior Design

Geoff Van Aller's exterior gives Elis Et Mar the long, flowing profile that became a hallmark of Trinity Yachts during the yard's final years. A fine raked bow, sweeping sheer line and low superstructure keep the yacht visually balanced despite her substantial 57m (187ft) length, while the white hull and superstructure maintain a timeless appearance that has aged well since her launch.

The deck arrangement is designed around entertaining on multiple levels. The sheltered main deck aft centres on a dining table for 12 guests, positioned close to the galley to allow efficient service while remaining protected from the wind. Above, the bridge deck provides a more relaxed social space that flows naturally between the skylounge and the aft seating area, creating an easy transition between indoor and outdoor living.

The sundeck offers the yacht's most informal entertaining space. A forward jacuzzi is surrounded by sun loungers, while a full-height glass windbreak provides shelter without interrupting the views. A shaded dining area, bar and dedicated gym occupy the aft section, allowing the deck to remain usable throughout the day and into the evening. Overhead air conditioning and heating across the principal exterior spaces extend the usability of the decks in a wider range of climates than a conventional open arrangement.

Forward, the long foredeck incorporates a private seating area separated from the main guest spaces, giving owners and guests another quiet retreat when the aft decks are being used for entertaining.

Interior Design

Evan K. Marshall's interior combines rich natural materials with Art Deco influences, while the 2024 refit has refreshed the living spaces without losing the yacht's original character. Marble, figured veneers, polished metals and bespoke artwork create a formal atmosphere, balanced by generous glazing that fills the principal rooms with natural light.

The main saloon follows a classic entertaining layout, with relaxed seating aft leading naturally into the formal dining room. Large windows on both sides strengthen the connection with the sea, while the arrangement provides clear circulation between the guest spaces and the exterior decks.

The bridge deck adopts a noticeably different personality. Pearlised lacquer, leather finishes, sculpted carpets and hand-carved Art Deco panels distinguish the skylounge from the main deck below, creating a more contemporary setting for informal gatherings. Marble detailing continues into the foyer, while the illuminated staircase, etched glass panels and decorative artwork introduce a strong visual identity that carries throughout the yacht.

Behind the scenes, practical planning is equally evident. The bridge remains separate from guest areas, while the captain's office sits immediately aft of the wheelhouse, creating an efficient operational hub without compromising guest privacy.

Accommodation

Elis Et Mar accommodates up to 12 guests across six cabins, with accommodation for up to 14 crew.

The full-beam owner's suite occupies the forward section of the main deck, beginning with a private office before opening into the bedroom and lounge area. A generous marble ensuite with twin basins, separate bath and shower completes what is effectively a private owner's apartment.

Four king-size guest cabins occupy the lower deck, each benefiting from enlarged picture windows that bring significantly more daylight into the accommodation than traditional portholes. Marble ensuite bathrooms with double vanities continue the level of finish found throughout the yacht.

A sixth guest cabin sits on the bridge deck immediately aft of the wheelhouse. Fitted with a Murphy bed and currently arranged as a gym, the room offers useful flexibility, allowing owners to choose between additional guest accommodation or a dedicated wellness space without altering the overall layout.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (3512C) 16-cylinder 3,384hp engines running at 1800rpm, motor yacht Elis Et Mar is capable of reaching a top speed of 20 knots, and comfortably cruises at 14 knots. With her 87,064 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 3,450 nautical miles at 10 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.

Amenities

A gym with all the latest equipment allows her guests to keep their workout routines while at sea. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort. The sundeck is the social hub of the yacht, with a deck jacuzzi for cooling off.
