Design & Construction
Designed around a planing aluminium hull and superstructure she features a 8.4m beam and a 1.77m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 395 GT (Gross Tonnes).
This was the fourth yacht built on the PJ 150 design.
Exterior Design
Equity is a 45.7m (150ft) Palmer Johnson PJ150 sport yacht, and the design from Nuvolari Lenard leans hard into speed and presence, with a low, flowing profile and a long, aggressive bow that carries right through into the superstructure. The aluminium build keeps weight down, so the yacht can deliver strong performance while holding that clean, sculpted shape.
The hull lines stay smooth and continuous, with a dark, sweeping window band cutting through the profile and linking the decks visually. This signature PJ150 look gives the yacht a stretched, fast appearance even at rest, while also bringing more light into the interior.
Deck spaces are set up for outdoor living. The aft deck supports full alfresco dining for 12, and it connects directly to sunpad areas and open lounging zones, so the layout works well for long days outside. Up top, the flybridge acts as a main social hub, with a Jacuzzi, sun loungers, shaded seating, and a dining area, all arranged to keep clear views across the water.
Forward, the foredeck includes a sunken seating area, which creates a more sheltered lounge space while staying open to the surroundings. The overall layout keeps movement simple across all decks, and the shallow draft around 1.9m to 2.1m (6ft 3in to 6ft 11in) allows access into bays and anchorages that deeper yachts would have to avoid.
Interior Design
Inside, Equity follows a modern, open-plan approach, supported by large window sections that bring steady natural light into the main living areas. The main deck master suite sits forward and uses the full beam, with a central king bed, a walk-in wardrobe, and separate lounge and study areas, so it feels properly separated from the rest of the guest spaces.
The main saloon is arranged for both lounging and dining, and the wide glazing keeps a strong connection to the exterior. Finishes stay clean and contemporary, in line with the PJ150’s modern styling, while the layout keeps spaces open and easy to move through.
Below deck, the guest accommodation includes a VIP suite with its own lounge area, which can close off to form a more private cabin. Two further guest cabins can convert between double and twin layouts, adding flexibility depending on how the yacht is used.
Accommodation
Equity accommodates up to 12 guests in 5 suites. The arrangement includes a full-beam master suite on the main deck, a VIP suite with an adaptable lounge space, and additional guest cabins that can switch between double and twin configurations.
All cabins have en suite bathrooms, and the layout allows different group setups without changing the overall flow of the yacht.
Crew accommodation supports up to 8 crew, with dedicated areas that allow for efficient service and smooth day-to-day operation onboard.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MTU (16V4000M90) 3,649hp engines, motor yacht Equity is capable of reaching a top speed of 27 knots, and comfortably cruises at 22 knots. With her 40,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 850 nautical miles. Her planing hull design means she is fast and efficient as she slices through the water.
