Design & Construction
Designed around a semi-displacement aluminium hull and superstructure she features a 9m beam and a 2.18m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 499 GT (Gross Tonnes).
This was the first yacht built on the Fast50 design. Launched in June 2026 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months.
Exterior Design
As the first hull in Baglietto's new Fast50 series, this 50m (164ft) yacht introduces a fresh take on the yard's long tradition of high-performance aluminium yachts. Francesco Paszkowski's design draws inspiration from celebrated Baglietto models such as Pachamama, Monokini and Adler, while incorporating several ideas first seen on the more recent T52 platform. The result is a yacht with a very sleek profile, impressive proportions and a strong sense of motion even when stationary.
The long bow, low superstructure and continuous bands of glazing create a clean, flowing silhouette that feels closer to a grand touring sports car than a traditional displacement superyacht. Automotive influences appear throughout the design, from the integrated air intakes to stern details inspired by sports car exhaust outlets. Hull No.1 also debuted in a custom Porsche Chalk paint finish, giving the yacht a distinctive appearance that suits its performance-focused character.
One of the most attractive areas is the stern. Developed across two levels, it incorporates fold-down bulwarks that expand the beach club and create a larger connection to the water. Comfortable chaise longues face directly aft, while a concealed transformer platform replaces a conventional passerelle, helping preserve the yacht's clean lines. The arrangement creates a lovely waterside lounge when anchored and gives guests excellent access to the sea.
The connection between indoor and outdoor spaces is particularly strong. Full-height opening windows wrap around three sides of both the main and upper decks, while Baglietto's signature cut-out bulwarks improve visibility from inside. The effect is especially noticeable on a yacht of this size, where the views remain remarkably open from many guest areas.
The upper deck offers generous lounging and sunbathing space aft, while forward of the wheelhouse there is a private seating area, additional sunpads and a bow jacuzzi positioned right at the front of the yacht. Above, a rooftop retreat provides another excellent outdoor space, complete with dining facilities and sun loungers reserved for owner use. This area is relatively unusual on a fast yacht and adds a valuable extra layer of privacy.
A flooding garage aft can accommodate a tender up to 7m (23ft) in length, while a second garage forward increases storage capacity further.
Interior Design
The interior design, developed by Francesco Paszkowski in collaboration with Margherita Casprini, balances contemporary styling with practical long-range cruising requirements. A particularly clever engineering decision involved relocating the ventilation ducts outside the hull structure. This freed additional interior volume and contributes to the spacious feel of the main deck. For a yacht designed to remain below 500GT while still achieving 30 knots, the result is impressive. The main saloon has generous proportions, with a comfortable lounge and TV area, while the formal dining space moves to the upper deck.
Teak is used extensively throughout the yacht in both smooth and slatted finishes, creating texture without visual clutter. Burnt oak, lacquered surfaces and carefully selected lightweight materials help achieve the performance targets without compromising quality. Marble and natural stone are used selectively, while even the exterior handrails are fabricated from titanium to reduce weight.
The main deck galley deserves special mention as it was designed as a genuinely social space. The owner's brief called for an environment where family and friends could spend time together, resulting in a larger and more welcoming arrangement than is often found aboard yachts of this type.
Accommodation
Accommodation is arranged for up to 10 guests across five cabins.
The owner's suite benefits from a wide-body configuration, a feature that distinguishes the Fast50 from many earlier fast yachts. Occupying the full beam, it provides excellent volume while preserving the yacht's low, elegant profile. Two large silk-screened hull windows bring natural light into the suite while maintaining privacy and exterior styling continuity.
Guest accommodation is located on the lower deck and consists of two VIP cabins and two twin cabins.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MTU (12v 2000 M96L) 2,000hp engines, motor yacht Fast 50/ 01 is capable of reaching a top speed of 30 knots. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.
