Kokomo Nights is a 156' motor yacht delivered by Italian shipyard Picchiotti in 1982. Her naval architecture and exterior design comes from the drawing boards of Arthur de Fever, while Shawn Paulic is responsible for her interior design.

Key Features

  • Sundeck jacuzzi with panoramic views
  • Indoor-outdoor upper saloon layout
  • Rich mahogany and soft neutrals
  • Full-beam main deck owner’s suite

Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 27'6" beam and a 8'10" draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 342 GT (Gross Tonnes).

The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards. She was delivered to her owners in January 1982.

Exterior Design

Kokomo Nights' design is based on a hull developed by Arthur de Fever and constructed to Lloyds +100 A1 LMC classification. She features a robust steel hull paired with an aluminum superstructure and finished with teak-laid decks. The exterior lines are elegant and purposeful, with the extra volume above 30 meters giving her a distinct sense of presence and space.

The outdoor areas are thoughtfully arranged. Instead of a conventional aft deck, guest relaxation is centered around a generously proportioned upper saloon on the boat-deck. This area offers a relaxed, indoor-outdoor feel, with both soft seating and alfresco dining space. There’s a bar and a service lift connecting directly to the pantry below, making it practical for hosting informal meals outdoors. Two sun decks sit above the superstructure, providing additional lounging spots for guests.

The raised jacuzzi on Kokomo Nights gives guests a front-row seat to the horizon.

Interior Design

Inside, the yacht presents a warm and traditional aesthetic, centered around polished mahogany finishes, whites & golds, and plush wool carpets. The layout flows from the central lobby into a formal dining room, which is immediately followed by the main saloon. Beyond that lies a smaller aft saloon. Each of these areas can be separated or joined via sliding doors, depending on the mood or occasion.

The boat-deck level houses the upper saloon - a more casual space that bridges indoor comfort with outdoor views. It’s ideal for relaxed gatherings, with plenty of seating and easy access to the bar and pantry lift.

Accommodation

Kokomo Nights can host up to 10 guests in five cabins. The master suite is located on the main deck and occupies the full beam, providing generous space along with its own private lounge, a dressing room, and a large en suite bathroom.

On the lower deck, there are four further guest cabins. Two of these are positioned forward and can be opened up into a single VIP suite with dual bathrooms, while the remaining three include two additional VIPs and a twin cabin - all with en suite facilities. The thoughtful layout makes it easy to adapt the accommodation to different group needs, whether for families or mixed parties.

A crew of nine is accommodated in separate quarters, ensuring professional service and smooth running throughout.

Performance & Capabilities

Motor yacht Kokomo Nights is capable of reaching a top speed of 15 knots, and comfortably cruises at 13 knots. With her 18,000 gallon fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 3,800 nautical miles at 10 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters.

A relaxed meal in the boat-deck saloon is part of the rhythm aboard Kokomo Nights.
