The 30.78m motor yacht Second Amendment was delivered to her owners in 2018 by American shipyard Hargrave. Her interior design, exterior styling and naval architecture come from the drawing boards of Hargrave's in-house design team.

Design & Construction
Designed around a semi-displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 6.4m beam and a 1.8m draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 207 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Exterior Design
The cockpit is equipped for social activities, featuring a built-in settee, table, and chairs, suitable for outdoor dining. Access to the teak swim platform is straightforward, thanks to elegantly curved stairs that flank the space. On the foredeck, there are built-in sun pads and a seating area offering panoramic ocean views. Integrated cup holders and storage compartments add convenience, while the windlass and anchor systems are easily accessible. The wide teak side decks, along with stainless-steel railings and high bulwarks, improve safety when moving around the vessel.
On the flybridge, a hardtop provides partial shade. Guests can join the captain at the helm on a bench-style settee or relax on a sun pad. The area includes a wet bar with stools, a C-shaped dinette with chairs, and a grill for additional dining options. The aft deck accommodates a 2,000-pound-capacity davit, space for a tender, and water toys. A hot tub is also available for relaxation.
Interior Design
The saloon is a spacious area, benefiting from large windows set 28 inches above the floor, providing expansive ocean views. The color palette features silvers, cool taupes, slate, and dusty blues, creating a modern and calming atmosphere. The ceiling incorporates coffered-style taupe beams with white lacquer recessed panels, complemented by upholstered white panels. Lighting is provided by LED fixtures, with triple polished chrome units over key areas such as the dining table and main seating zones. Guests can relax on three leather sofas or at the wet bar with a custom table and bar chairs. A 65-inch Samsung LED Smart TV enhances the entertainment options. The dining area, positioned forward, allows for meals with ocean views through the large side windows.
The galley is designed for practicality and social interaction, featuring a breakfast nook for planning daily activities. The area is equipped with wood grain and stainless-steel appliances, benefiting from natural light streaming through the front and side window. There's a large island and American-style fridge-freezers, while a forward dinette provides a social space for guests.
The helm is situated in the raised pilot house, offering a comprehensive view and access to all necessary instrumentation. Additional seating is available for guests wishing to observe or interact with navigation activities.
Accommodation
The yacht Second Amendment offers comfortable accommodation for up to eight guests in four well-appointed staterooms. The owner stateroom is a prominent feature, equipped with a king-size berth and an expansive headboard upholstered in pale-gray faux leather. The attached en suite is elegantly finished with marble and includes a split-center shower enclosed with frosted glass.
The forward VIP stateroom also features a king-size island berth and offers ample storage space suitable for extended journeys. The yacht includes a port guest stateroom with a queen-size berth and a starboard guest stateroom with side-by-side twin berths that can convert into a queen-size bed for couples.
In addition to guest accommodations, Second Amendment supports a captain and four crew members, housed within three separate cabins.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (C32 ACERT) 1,800hp engines, motor yacht Second Amendment is capable of reaching a top speed of 24 knots, and comfortably cruises at 21 knots. With her 12,113 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 1,500 nautical miles. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.
Amenities
The sundeck is the social hub of the yacht, with a deck jacuzzi for cooling off.
