111m Oceanco Superyacht DreAMBoat Successfully Delivered

Oceanco’s 111m superyacht DreAMBoat, known throughout construction as Y726, has officially been delivered, marking one of the most significant completions in the Dutch shipyard’s recent history.

With an exterior by Espen Oeino and interiors by Mark Berryman Design, the project brings together a familiar design partnership for Oceanco, supported by naval architecture from Lateral Naval Architects.

The project’s build phase involved a close working relationship between Oceanco, the design partners, and the owner’s longstanding representative, Falcon Yacht Management. Oceanco project director Edske Smit described the process as a reflection of the collaborative mindset across the teams responsible for the yacht’s completion.

A Major Addition to the Oceanco Fleet

DreAMBoat stands among the largest yachts ever constructed by Oceanco, with a 16-meter beam and a gross tonnage of 4,550GT. Her scale places her near the mid-point of the YachtBuyer YB100 by internal volume, positioning her firmly among the world’s biggest yachts and reinforcing Oceanco’s standing at the upper end of the large yacht sector. Commissioned by an experienced returning owner, the project has been underway since 2022 and reached outfitting in Alblasserdam in late 2023.

During that phase, the yacht was temporarily decorated in a vivid wrap by Rotterdam-based graffiti artist I AM EELCO. The psychedelic artwork covered the superstructure during her transfer from Zwijndrecht and drew wide attention before being removed to reveal the yacht’s final exterior.

DreAMBoat’s Multi-Level Deck Plan

Espen Oeino’s approach centers on proportion and clarity, with a white steel hull and a slight inward rake at the bow. Broad, full-height windows feature throughout, part of a wider plan to open interior areas to the horizon.

The deck layout is arranged around multi-level entertainment spaces, including:

  • Winter garden
  • Outdoor cinema
  • Swimming pool and jacuzzi
  • Covered cocktail area
  • A private owner’s deck with its own jacuzzi

The beam-forward stance gives the foredeck a strong presence, while the aft decks support both relaxation and guest circulation. Large windows on every level reinforce the visual connection between the yacht and the sea.

Mark Berryman’s Calm Interior Scheme

Mark Berryman’s interior scheme prioritizes calm textures, balanced lighting, and long sightlines. The main salon acts as the central gathering space, equipped for day and evening use with comfortable seating and a full entertainment system. A dedicated cinema lounge offers a quieter destination for film nights.

Wellness spaces include a gym with modern exercise equipment and a spa area complete with sauna and steam room. The beach club lounge opens directly onto the swimming platform, with a bar positioned to serve guests using the water or relaxing inside. An elevator links guest decks to support access throughout the yacht. Large window panels across the superstructure bring natural light deep into the yacht and keep views present in nearly every interior setting.

DreAMBoat carries up to 28 guests across 14 suites. The crew complement totals 34, structured to maintain smooth operations on long passages and support full charter-style service for the owner and guests.

The motor yacht reaches a top speed of 18 knots and cruises at 15 knots. Her displacement steel hull and aluminium superstructure form part of an efficiency-focused platform developed by Oceanco and Lateral Naval Architects. Stability systems manage comfort both underway and at anchor.

Oceanco Leadership Changes and Large-Scale Projects

DreAMBoat’s arrival comes during a pivotal period for the Dutch shipyard. Earlier this year, in August, Gabe Newell acquired Oceanco, setting a new direction for the business at the same time his own 111 meter diesel-electric yacht Leviathan was being prepared for handover. Leviathan has since been delivered and joined the Inkfish fleet, marking one of the yard’s most technically advanced projects to date.

Leviathan stands out as a major project where crew feedback played a central role in the yacht’s early design stages.

Looking ahead, Oceanco’s pipeline remains focused on the upper end of the large yacht sector. According to YachtBuyer Market Watch, the world's largest yacht database, the order book currently includes two major builds, led by the 130m Oceanco Y727 scheduled for delivery in 2030. DreAMBoat now enters the fleet as another headline project in a year defined by significant completions and long-range planning at the yard.
