Design & Construction
Designed around a full displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 8.8m beam and a 2.6m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 522 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Construction started in mid 1999 with the keel laid under the project name 'Master II'. She was delivered to her owners in April 2001.
Exterior Design
The exterior design of New Master follows a traditional displacement yacht profile with a long foredeck, tiered superstructure and wide exterior walkaround decks.
Outdoor spaces are distributed across three exterior deck levels, allowing several areas for dining, lounging and sunbathing.
The main deck aft provides a sheltered seating and dining area close to the water, forming the primary outdoor entertaining space.
Above, the upper deck aft expands the outdoor seating areas, while the sundeck is arranged as the yacht’s main open-air relaxation space. This deck includes a Jacuzzi, sunpads and additional seating, creating a dedicated area for guests to spend time outdoors while cruising or at anchor.
Wide side decks connect the various exterior areas and allow easy movement around the yacht.
Interior Design
The interior of New Master was designed by Elisabetta Ruggiero, with a layout that separates social areas across the main and upper decks.
The main deck includes the primary guest lounge and formal dining space. Seating areas are arranged to create a relaxed environment for guests, while large windows allow natural light into the interior spaces.
Forward of the salon sits the formal dining area, providing a dedicated setting for meals while maintaining connection with the surrounding lounge.
The upper deck skylounge forms a second interior gathering space. This lounge includes seating and entertainment facilities, offering an alternative setting for guests to relax away from the main salon.
Accommodation
New Master accommodates up to 12 guests in six cabins.
The full-beam owner’s suite is positioned on the main deck and includes a private office, walk-in dressing room and separate his-and-hers bathrooms.
Additional guest cabins are located across the lower and upper decks, each with ensuite bathroom facilities.
Crew accommodation for 7 allows the yacht to operate with a full service team while maintaining guest privacy.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel Deutz (TBD 620 V16) 2,450hp engines, motor yacht New Master is capable of reaching a top speed of 17 knots, and comfortably cruises at 16 knots. With her 96,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 4,500 nautical miles at 12 knots.
