Cannes, FranceThe 35.75m motor yacht Penta was delivered to her owners in 2021 by Italian shipyard Sanlorenzo. The yacht's exteriors have been penned by Zuccon International Project, while Christian Liaigre has designed her interiors.

Design & Construction
Designed around a semi-displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 7.9m beam and a 1.96m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 291 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Construction started in late 2019. She was delivered to her owners in July 2021.
Exterior Design
Penta is a 35.75m (117.3ft) Sanlorenzo SD118 delivered in 2021, with exterior design by Zuccon International Project. She carries the broad, high-volume proportions of the SD line, but the profile is kept visually light by long black window bands, a clean white hull and a superstructure that steps back as it rises. At 298GT and 7.9m (25.9ft) across the beam, there is a lot of yacht packed into the length, yet the glazing gives the side profile a much longer, lower appearance.
The foredeck is set up as a proper guest area, with large sunpads and seating close to the owner’s suite. Penta’s principal cabin has direct access forward, so the bow effectively doubles as a private outdoor extension of the owner’s accommodation when required.
Aft, the layout becomes more social. The upper deck terrace is arranged for alfresco dining and lounging, while the sun deck adds a Jacuzzi, bar and broad sunbathing areas. The decks are well separated, which gives guests different places to settle through the day instead of repeating the same arrangement at each level.
The stern is one of the more useful parts of the yacht. Penta has an open beach club arrangement close to the water, with a fold down opening to starboard that widens the area at anchor. The swim platform and garage sit immediately aft, keeping tender and watersports operations close to the water while leaving the main guest terraces above clear.
Interior Design
Christian Liaigre’s interior is calm, clean and very much in keeping with the yacht’s architecture. Pale natural timber, neutral fabrics and restrained detailing keep the rooms bright, while darker accents give the spaces enough contrast to avoid feeling washed out.
The main saloon is open plan, with lounge seating and dining sharing one long room. Large windows run down both sides, so the space gets plenty of natural light and broad views out over the water. Furniture stays relatively low, which helps the glazing do its job instead of being hidden behind bulky pieces.
The upper deck skylounge gives guests another proper indoor living room, useful when 10 people are aboard for longer periods. It has a quieter character than the main saloon and sits close to the upper aft terrace, so the whole level works well for drinks, meals and evenings outside.
Accommodation
Penta accommodates up to 10 guests in five suites, with the owner’s cabin forward on the main deck and four guest cabins below.
The owner’s suite has a private office area and direct access to the foredeck. That gives the cabin more than just a good position within the yacht, because the forward outdoor space can be used almost as a private terrace when guests are elsewhere.
Four further guest suites occupy the lower deck, all continuing the same light timber and neutral palette found through the main living areas.
Crew accommodation is arranged separately for up to six in three cabins.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (3512C) 1,500hp engines, motor yacht Penta is capable of reaching a top speed of 19 knots, and comfortably cruises at 11 knots. With her 32,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 2,500 nautical miles at 11 knots. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.
