Eighth Sanlorenzo 500EXP Explorer Yacht Casa F Launched With €5M in Owner Upgrades

Sanlorenzo has launched the 47m explorer yacht Casa F, bringing one of the most heavily customized 500EXP builds to market with a €35 million asking price.

Built at the Italian yard’s La Spezia facilities, the Sanlorenzo 500EXP follows a development process reported to have taken around three years and includes more than €5 million of owner upgrades across engineering, interiors, entertainment systems, and onboard amenities.

A Customized Take on the 500EXP Formula

Designed by Francesco Paszkowski Design, Casa F continues the design direction established by Ocean Dreamwalker III, the first yacht in the series launched in 2018. The platform pairs long-range cruising capability with the practical features expected from an expedition yacht while remaining below the 500GT threshold.

One of the defining exterior spaces remains the expansive aft deck, designed to support multiple operating modes. The area of the yacht for sale can function as a social terrace, tender storage zone, or helicopter-capable working deck, supported by a 7.5-ton crane and touch-and-go helipad capability.

The 47m explorer features a steel hull, aluminum superstructure, 499GT internal volume, and a range of approximately 4,000 nautical miles. Twin Caterpillar engines deliver a top speed of 15 knots and cruising speed of 11 knots.

From Working Deck to Wellness Space

Rather than treating the stern purely as an operational space, Casa F places significant emphasis on lifestyle amenities. The beach club opens directly onto fold-out sea terraces and incorporates a hammam, gym, bar area, and a custom hydraulic transformer swim platform. The arrangement pushes the lower deck beyond the traditional swim platform concept and creates a dedicated wellness area connected directly to the water. Elsewhere onboard, upgraded navigation systems and increased fuel capacity support the longer cruising ambitions of the explorer yacht for sale, reinforcing the brief behind the 500EXP line.

A Bespoke Interior Built Around Natural Textures

Inside the motor yacht for sale, the owners commissioned a heavily customized interior centered on tactile finishes and natural textures. Loro Piana fabrics and curtains sit alongside bespoke marble surfaces, custom cabinetry, fluted detailing, and herringbone parquet flooring. Large windows run throughout the social areas to increase natural light and strengthen the visual link between interior and exterior spaces.

Entertainment specifications also move beyond the standard configuration. Bang & Olufsen audiovisual systems are installed throughout the superyacht for sale, accompanied by indoor and outdoor cinema arrangements and a dedicated DJ station.

Guest accommodation is arranged for up to 10 guests across five cabins, including a full-beam owner’s suite positioned forward on the main deck. The space incorporates a private terrace and office area, while the lower deck houses the remaining guest accommodation.

Casa F is on the market with EKKA Yachts and is currently asking €35,000,000

Active Projects Stretch Across the Sanlorenzo Range

Casa F arrives during another active period for Sanlorenzo as the Italian builder continues work across both explorer and steel platforms. According to YachtBuyer MarketWatch, the largest yacht database in the world, Sanlorenzo currently has 106 yachts either in build or on order, placing it among the industry’s busiest builders across the production and superyacht sectors.

At the upper end of the portfolio, the yard continues progress on the flagship Sanlorenzo 74Steel program. The first unit, Silver Fox, is moving toward delivery while establishing the foundation for future owner-specific builds with layouts, beach club concepts, and wellness facilities developed individually for each yacht.

The 500EXP remains an important part of the explorer lineup, sitting alongside newer long-range concepts such as the Sanlorenzo 50 X-Space and the larger Sanlorenzo 1150EXP platform. The yard is also advancing multiple projects within its Steel range, including the recently launched second 50Steel, part of a five-unit build program where all hulls are already sold.

Together, these projects show how Sanlorenzo is developing simultaneously across expedition yachts, steel displacement platforms, and newer crossover concepts while maintaining one of the sector’s largest active order books.
