The 36.6m motor yacht Savoir-Faire was delivered to her owners in 2002 by Broward. Her naval architecture and exterior design comes from the drawing boards of Broward.

Key Features

  • 36.58m (120ft) Broward 120 MY
  • 2,500nm range at 12 knots
  • 23.5ft (7.2m) country kitchen
  • Six-person flybridge hot tub

Design & Construction

Designed around a semi-displacement aluminium hull and superstructure she features a 7m beam and a 2m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 209 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Exterior Design

Savoir-Faire is a 36.58m (120ft) Broward 120 MY raised pilothouse motor yacht, built in aluminium with teak decks and refitted in 2018. The profile is long, straight, and classically American, with a fine entry, high bow, and restrained superstructure that keeps the yacht elegant rather than bulky. Large dark window bands break up the white topsides, while the raised pilothouse and open flybridge give the yacht a practical, long-range cruising character.

The exterior is less about sculpted styling and more about proportion and usability. A long foredeck, full walkaround side decks, and a broad aft section give the yacht the sort of deck circulation that works well for private cruising and guest movement. The stern carries a low swim platform with TNT boat lift, while the aft deck is arranged as a full-beam entertaining terrace with dining, service cabinetry, and direct access into the main saloon.

Above, the flybridge is the defining deck. At 43.5ft (13.3m) long, it was reworked in the 2018 refit with new teak, an oversized hardtop, a six-person hot tub, a central island bar, grill, and multiple seating groups. That gives Savoir-Faire a top deck more like a proper outdoor lounge than a token upper helm space.

Interior Design

The interior was reworked in 2018 around a South Beach-inspired brief that opened up the yacht and shifted the emphasis toward entertaining. Semi-gloss maple panelling, pale soft furnishings, stone finishes, and custom lighting give the main deck a brighter and more current feel than the yacht’s original 2002 interior would suggest.

The main saloon is 30ft long and arranged around two large white leather sofas facing each other, with loose chairs widening the seating area. An 84-inch Sony TV sits forward, but the room still works as a social lounge first. Oversized windows and aft glass doors pull in a lot of natural light, while electric shades and all-new soft goods from the refit keep the finish clean and current.

Forward of the saloon, the formal dining area is more substantial than usual, with a custom dining table for eight, built-in buffets, and dedicated storage for china and stemware. Beyond that sits the biggest change from the refit, a 23.5ft (7.2m) country kitchen with a stone centre island, stools, an L-shaped dinette for eight, large TV, and a full run of Viking and Sub-Zero appliances. The original galley remains in place as a serving galley, so the yacht has a more flexible service setup than most in this size range.

Accommodation

Savoir-Faire accommodates up to 10 guests in five suites and carries up to six crew. The guest layout is all on the lower deck, which leaves the main level free for entertaining and gives the accommodation spaces more privacy.

The owner’s suite sits midships and uses the yacht’s beam well, with a king-size bed, built-in storage, integrated desk, cedar-lined walk-in wardrobe, and an en suite with twin marble vanities, large tub, and separate shower.

Guest accommodation is unusually generous for a yacht of this size. Three VIP cabins are included in the layout, with the forward VIP being the most substantial and adding its own seating area. The remaining guest cabins provide the extra doubles and twin arrangement needed to bring total guest capacity to 10, so the layout has more flexibility than the earlier summary suggested.

Crew spaces are separate and include a large crew lounge, laundry, refrigeration, and three cabins, arranged to support smooth day-to-day service.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (3412) 1,400hp engines, motor yacht Savoir-Faire is capable of reaching a top speed of 22 knots, and comfortably cruises at 17 knots. With her 49,200 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 2,500 nautical miles at 12 knots. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.

Amenities

Savoir-Faire also features deck jacuzzi which provides excellent views.
