Design & Construction

Designed around a semi-displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 7.92m beam and a 1.96m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 180 GT (Gross Tonnes).

This was the third yacht built on the Westport 130 design.

Exterior Design

The Westport 130 Serengeti measures 39.62m (130ft), and her exterior reflects the builder’s semi-custom platform with a clean, balanced profile, a raked bow, and a tiered superstructure that steps neatly across three decks. With a classic white hull and superstructure with long horizontal window bands, the yacht reads as light and well-proportioned rather than bulky.

The main deck runs full walkaround, which supports safe movement forward, while the bow is arranged with a dedicated seating area set into the foredeck, creating a private space away from the main social zones. Aft, the bridge deck carries a covered lounge with an integrated Jacuzzi, and this area connects directly to interior spaces, so it works well for day-to-night use.

The flybridge sits above with a large open layout, including sunbathing space, a wet bar, and a barbecue station, while an optional hardtop provides shade when required. Railings are kept low and glazing is used across the superstructure, so sightlines remain open across all decks. 

Interior Design

The interior of Serengeti is arranged around light, space, and practical flow, with large windows on both port and starboard sides bringing in consistent natural light across the main salon and skylounge. The main salon is open in layout, with generous seating and built-in storage, while maintaining clear sightlines through to the formal dining area forward.

A cherrywood buffet defines the dining space without closing it off, and it also conceals a pop-up 42-inch television that serves the salon, so the layout remains flexible between formal and casual use. The dining table seats up to 10 guests, positioned to take advantage of the surrounding glazing.

The skylounge adds a second social hub, with a full wet bar, seating areas, a games table, and a 60-inch television, so it works as a separate gathering space away from the main deck. Interior styling includes subtle thematic details, with animal-inspired fabrics and artwork integrated into the décor, while finishes remain consistent with the Westport build style.

Accommodation

Serengeti accommodates up to 12 guests across five staterooms, including a main deck master suite and four guest cabins on the lower deck.

The master suite sits forward on the main deck and benefits from full-beam width, with large windows, lounge seating, and en suite facilities. On the lower deck, two king cabins and two twin cabins provide flexible guest arrangements, and one twin includes a Pullman berth to increase capacity.

Crew accommodation supports a team of seven, allowing full service for private use or charter operation, and the layout reflects a proven configuration developed across the Westport 130 series.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel MTU (12V 4000 M90) 2,735hp engines, motor yacht Serengeti is capable of reaching a top speed of 28 knots, and comfortably cruises at 12 knots. With her 37,475 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 3,450 nautical miles at 24 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.
