Sonishi is a 40.05m motor yacht delivered by British shipyard Sunseeker in 2019. Sunseeker is responsible for the complete look and feel of the superyacht, having created the interior design, exterior styling and naval architecture.
Design & Construction
Designed around a semi-displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 8.09m beam and a 2.7m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 341 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Construction started in early 2017. This was the fourteenth yacht built on the 131 Yacht design. Launched in March 2019 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was completed at Sunseeker's Shipyard, Poole yard in United Kingdom where she was commissioned and delivered to her owners in May 2019.
Accommodation
Sonishi offers accommodation for up to 10 guests in 5 suites comprising an owners cabin, 2 double cabins and 2 twin cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 8 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MTU (12V 4000 M93) 12-cylinder engines, motor yacht Sonishi is capable of reaching a top speed of 22 knots, and comfortably cruises at 12 knots. With her 21,650 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 1,500 nautical miles at 12 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.
Amenities
Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort. Crowning the yacht is a spacious sundeck with an inviting spread of sunpads and deck jacuzzi which provides excellent views.
