Cannes, FranceSunrise is a 43.06m motor yacht for sale delivered by Yildiz Shipyard in 2020. Her naval architecture and exterior design comes from the drawing boards of Ginton Naval Architects, while Hot Lab is responsible for her interior design.

Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 8.8m beam and a 2.8m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 419 GT (Gross Tonnes).
She was delivered to her owners in November 2019.
Exterior Design
Sunrise was shaped around an experienced owner who had spent around 30 years boating and had already commissioned three yachts before this one. That background shows in the deck plan. Ginton Naval Architects kept the superstructure fairly far forward, leaving useful guest space aft on several levels and pushing the tenders and toys onto the open foredeck, where they can be handled without taking over the stern.
The profile has a high bow, substantial steel hull and long horizontal bands of glazing breaking up the white superstructure. There is a lot of boat here for 42.98m (141ft), with 419GT and an 8.77m (28.8ft) beam, but the stepped decks and dark windows keep the height under control.
Outdoor space is one of Sunrise’s strongest cards, with around 415m² (4,467sqft) spread across the exterior decks. The sun deck alone covers 120m² (1,292sqft), with dining, a bar, lounge seating and open sunbathing areas, while the upper deck owner’s suite opens directly onto its own private terrace.
The stern was kept free for guests instead of filling it with tender storage. A beach club opens onto a large swim platform, helped by a six step Opacmare transformer that lowers into the water, while the main deck aft and sun deck add more dining and lounging space above. Forward of the wheelhouse there is another seating area, giving the family somewhere more private when the aft decks are busy.
Interior Design
Hot Lab worked closely with the owner and his wife on an interior intended to suit three generations of the family, and the result is much warmer than the yacht’s fairly serious exterior might suggest. Walnut, Macassar ebony and honey coloured afzelia run through the rooms, with checkerboard panelling, chrome, mother of pearl and woven leather adding detail without turning every surface into a feature.
Furniture mixes bespoke Hot Lab pieces with Giorgetti and Minotti, while the main dining table and coffee tables were designed specifically for the yacht. The overall character is classic in places, but the shapes and detailing are contemporary enough to stop the interior feeling tied to a particular period.
The main deck carries the principal saloon and formal dining area for up to 12 guests, with direct access aft to the exterior dining space. Hot Lab also gave the crew side of the yacht proper attention, with a large galley and pantry forward on the main deck and separate crew circulation through the yacht.
One of the most useful pieces of planning is the guest lift, which runs from the lower deck guest area through to the sun deck. Sunrise was designed to be wheelchair friendly, and the lift is fully integrated into the layout.
Accommodation
Sunrise accommodates up to 12 guests in five cabins, with the owner given the entire upper deck aft section and four guest cabins arranged below. Crew accommodation is provided for eight in five cabins.
The owner’s suite is the unusual bit. It sits on the upper deck, spans the full 8.77m (28.8ft) beam and measures around 41.2m² (443sqft), with a private lounge, generous storage and direct access to the aft terrace. That position puts the owner well away from the main saloon and lower deck guest cabins, and gives the suite far more privacy than the familiar forward main deck arrangement.
Two VIP doubles sit aft on the lower deck, while two twin cabins are positioned farther forward and each carries an additional Pullman berth. The arrangement works neatly for the family brief, with proper double cabins for adult couples and flexible twins for younger guests.
The lift reaches the lower deck accommodation as well as the decks above, so guests with limited mobility can move between the cabins, saloons and sun deck without relying on the stairs. That is still a rare provision on a yacht of this size.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MTU (8V 2000 M72) 965hp engines, motor yacht Sunrise is capable of reaching a top speed of 14 knots, and comfortably cruises at 12 knots. With her 38,350 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 4,100 nautical miles at 8 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters.
Amenities
A gym with all the latest equipment allows her guests to keep their workout routines while at sea. Waterfront living can be enjoyed to the fullest, thanks to a large beach club and connecting swim platform with plenty of space for sitting back and admiring the sea views. An elevator makes the yacht fully-accessible, while air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort. The sundeck is the social hub of the yacht and an inviting spread of sunpads.
