Design & Construction
Designed around a planing fiberglass hull and a GRP superstructure she features a 6.86m beam and a 1.19m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 150 GT (Gross Tonnes).
This was the ninth yacht built on the Leopard 31 design.
Exterior Design
U Wish is a 30.5m (100ft) Leopard 31 Open built by Italian yard Arno to a design by Andrea Bacigalupo. Delivered in 2008 as Tsara 3, the yacht later carried the name Alisios before becoming U Wish.
The Leopard 31 platform is known for its low, aggressive profile and high-speed performance, and U Wish follows that formula closely. The hull and superstructure sit very low to the water, with a long foredeck, sharply sloped hardtop and stretched side glazing that gives the yacht a sleek, almost stealth-like appearance.
The profile is built around movement and airflow. Strong hull-to-deck lines and the elongated superstructure help emphasize the yacht’s planing-hull proportions, while the dark window bands contrast against the white GRP structure to sharpen the overall look.
Outdoor spaces are arranged in a fairly open, flowing layout. The aft deck connects directly to the main salon through hydraulic glass doors, helping the interior and exterior feel like one social space when opened up. A dining area sits beneath the hardtop with loose seating and large umbrellas for shade, while a broad sunpad stretches across the aft section above the swim platform and garage.
The foredeck adds another oversized sunpad area with additional umbrellas, making use of the Leopard’s long bow proportions.
A large retractable roof above the salon increases the open-air feel further and suits the yacht’s Mediterranean-style dayboat character.
Interior Design
U Wish received an extensive refit in 2016 that included a new interior scheme, upgraded AV and communications systems and a hull repaint.
The saloon uses large side windows and the retractable roof to bring in natural light, giving the space a brighter atmosphere than many enclosed sport yachts. Sofas sit to port and starboard, with ottomans that include built-in storage beneath.
Forward in the saloon is a wet bar with fridge, icemaker and wine cooler, separated from the helm by a custom glass partition.
The refit introduced more contemporary finishes throughout the interior, including white wool carpets, marble flooring and exotic leather detailing.
Accommodation
U Wish accommodates up to eight guests across four suites.
The layout includes an owner’s cabin, one VIP cabin and two twin cabins. One of the twin cabins includes a Pullman berth, allowing accommodation flexibility for additional guests.
All guest cabins have en suite bathrooms, entertainment systems and television screens.
The yacht also includes three staff cabins that can accommodate up to six members of the owner’s staff or security team, alongside accommodation for up to six crew.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by 3 x diesel MTU (12V 2000 M93) 12-cylinder 1,800hp engines, motor yacht U Wish is capable of reaching a top speed of 38 knots, and comfortably cruises at 32 knots. With her 10,001 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 461 nautical miles. Her planing hull design means she is fast and efficient as she slices through the water.
