The 88'8" motor yacht Mad Day was delivered to her owners in 2018 by Italian shipyard Canados. Her interior design, exterior styling and naval architecture come from the drawing boards of Canados' in-house design team.
Design & Construction
Designed around a planing GRP hull and a kevlar/aramat superstructure she features a 21' beam and a 6'7" draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 84 GT (Gross Tonnes).
This was the first yacht built on the Canados 888 Evolution design. Launched in July 2018 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in July 2018.
Accommodation
Mad Day offers accommodation for up to 8 guests in 4 suites comprising an owners cabin, 1 VIP cabin and 2 twin cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 3 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (C32 ACERT) 1,925hp engines, motor yacht Mad Day is capable of reaching a top speed of 32 knots, and comfortably cruises at 20 knots. With her 2,378 gallon fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 453 nautical miles at 20 knots. Her planing hull design means she is fast and efficient as she slices through the water.
Amenities
The yacht can house plenty of nautical toys and accessories, with a well-appointed tender garage for storing her impressive locker. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort, while underwater lights create a dazzling light display when the sun goes down. Mad Day also features an inviting spread of sunpads.
