First Look: Inside the Third and Final 80m Bilgin 263 Superyacht Al Reem

The first interior images of the 80m superyacht Al Reem have been released, revealing the most personalized and voluminous yacht in the yard's trilogy to date.

Exterior design and naval architecture are by Unique Yacht Design, with interiors by H2 Yacht Design. As the final vessel in the Bilgin 263 series, Al Reem represents a significant evolution in layout, scale, and interior intent - shaped by an owner's brief centered on restraint, light, and spatial clarity.

A Series Pushed Further

Al Reem is described by the yard as the most developed expression of the Bilgin 263 platform, following sister ships Tatiana and Leona. The headline figure is 1,758 GT - nearly 100 gross tons more than the first hull, according to the builder. Separate coverage also cites a 20 percent increase in volume over her predecessors.

Increasing her gross tonnage without altering the yacht’s visual balance required substantial reworking of the superstructure. Unique Yacht Design reshaped the upper sections to absorb additional internal space while maintaining the sleek, athletic profile that defines the series. The mast was enlarged by 20 percent compared to earlier yachts, and deck areas were refined to preserve clean lines despite the increased scale.

“Less Is More” - The Owner’s Brief

The defining thread throughout Al Reem’s interior is the owner’s stated philosophy of simplicity. The direction was clear: reduce visual noise, limit unnecessary furniture, and allow material quality and natural light to define the mood.

The palette centers on white, cream, and beige tones, supported by organic matt timbers, pale leathers, and natural stone. The approach is not minimal in a stark sense. Instead, it relies on:

  • Restrained color contrasts
  • Layered textures rather than bold patterns
  • Integrated lighting rather than decorative excess
  • Long sightlines toward the sea

Al Reemis a profound reflection of the owner's personal philosophy and an ongoing quest forabsolute simplicity. This highly bespoke vessel stands as a floating manifesto of “Less is More,” deliberately eschewing extravagance in favor of the purest forms ofcomfort and elegance."

- Owner's Statement

Large floor-to-ceiling windows are central to the experience. The owner requested uninterrupted views, which led to deliberate layout edits. A conventional bar typically placed near the forward exterior seating was removed to keep the main deck axis clear. The primary television is concealed in the ceiling and descends only when required.

The Main Saloon - Formal, but Controlled

The main saloon sets the tone for the yacht’s social spaces. It is described as formal yet welcoming, intended to function equally for daytime use and evening entertaining.

Calacatta Oro marble is used across flooring and key surfaces, softened by custom carpets underfoot. Timber paneling is interspersed with mirrored inserts and backlit artwork panels. Sculptural decorative glass elements act as focal points without overwhelming the space.

At the center of the dining area sits a bespoke marble table with backlit agate detailing - one of the few overtly dramatic gestures in the room. Polished stainless steel columns and discreet mirrored surfaces reduce the visual weight of structural elements. Indirect ceiling lighting and carefully positioned chandeliers preserve clear sightlines across the full beam.

The effect is balanced. There is richness in the materials - Macassar ebony, eucalyptus, marble accents - but the color story remains controlled.

The central staircase forms a vertical spine through the motor yacht. Leather-clad panels, textured stone, and polished metal accents create continuity between decks. Lobby areas use marble flooring, mirrored detailing, and restrained wall finishes to maintain the same calm tone. A glass elevator links all guest levels

The Beach Club - A Resort-Scale Retre

If the main deck is measured and composed, the lower deck beach club is immersive. The space spans the full beam and is centered around a large indoor pool finished in custom mosaic tiles in light blue, white, and gray tones. Bleached teak decking with gray caulking reinforces the connection to the sea.

Material layering remains consistent throughout the space, with rippled timber wall panels set against polished Calacatta Oro marble flooring. Backlit decorative panels add depth, while a White Onyx bar countertop introduces a focal point, complemented by hammered polished stainless steel detailing that subtly reflects light.

Wellness facilities extend beyond the pool. The lower deck includes:

  • A hammam
  • Steam room
  • Dedicated treatment room
  • Integrated sauna within the gym

Finishes include Blue Cristal marble, Gray Onyx, pebble flooring, and glass mosaic detailing. The intention is clear - this is a fully realized health and fitness retreat rather than a secondary leisure space.

A Private Apartment at Sea - The Owner’s Deck

One of the most significant architectural changes on Al Reem is the creation of a dedicated owner’s deck. To achieve this, the traditional wheelhouse was relocated to the top deck. This freed the forward upper deck for an expansive, full-beam owner’s suite - effectively a private apartment on board.

Rather than relying on overt luxury statements, the design focuses on atmosphere, craftsmanship and timeless elegance, offering an onboard lifestyle that feels calm, contemporary and unmistakably bespoke."

Positioned forward, the suite offers expansive glazing with a reported 300-degree view. Two sliding doors lead to a private terrace and Jacuzzi area. Interior finishes continue the light palette: cream leather, silk carpets, organic matt timbers, polished stainless steel accents, and natural stone surfaces. The suite is isolated from main guest and crew traffic, reinforcing privacy.

A fully equipped, sound-insulated executive office is also included, underscoring the superyacht’s capability as a self-contained base for extended cruising.

Art, Engineering, and Quietness

The owner requested heightened acoustic performance. Bilgin highlights enhanced sound insulation throughout guest areas, MBM wall panels, premium STURM doors, and a stabilizer-equipped bed in the master cabin supplied by Stable Norway.

Art is treated as a primary design layer rather than an afterthought. In one instance, a traditional bar location near the staircase was replaced with a large art installation. The yacht is described as curated with selected artworks, functioning as a moving gallery.

Entertainment systems were installed by Artsys Marine and received recognition at Metstrade 2025 with the Best Residential and Yachting Project award from K-Array. A custom open-air cinema system and smart golf setup with water-soluble balls further illustrate the level of customization.

Al Reem is powered by twin MTU 16V 4000 M73 engines, each producing 2,560 kW. Reported top speed is 19 knots, with a cruising speed of 15 knots and a transoceanic range of more than 5,000 nautical miles. Quantum Marine stabilizers support onboard comfort.

The Final Expression of the 263

As the closing yacht in the Bilgin 263 trilogy, Al Reem was not designed to reinvent the platform. She refines it in a specific direction - more volume, more privacy, and a lighter, more edited interior language.

Where Tatiana and Leona established the model’s profile and global presence, Al Reem narrows the focus toward atmosphere. The consistent light palette, disciplined material use, uninterrupted views, and expanded owner’s domain position her as the most personally shaped yacht of the three.

The first interior reveal confirms that Al Reem is less about visual spectacle and more about composure. In a segment where scale often drives design decisions, this 80-meter platform demonstrates that restraint, executed at 1,758 GT, can be just as impactful.
