The 88'11" motor yacht Worth The Wait was delivered to her owners in 2023 by British shipyard Sunseeker. Sunseeker is responsible for the complete look and feel of the superyacht, having created the interior design, exterior styling and naval architecture.

Key Features

  • Full-beam owner’s suite amidships
  • Beach club with X-TEND™ seating
  • Enclosed flybridge with retractable doors
  • 1,800-nautical-mile cruising capability

Design & Construction

Designed around a fast displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 23'6" beam and a 6'5" draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 182 GT (Gross Tonnes).

This was the first yacht built on the Ocean 182 design.

Exterior Design

Worth the Wait is a 2024 Sunseeker Ocean 182, built around the idea of generous volume and smooth long-distance cruising. At 27.1m (88.9ft), she delivers a range of 1,800 nautical miles and a top speed of 26 knots. The design balances Sunseeker’s performance edge with a calm, open feel suited to extended time at sea.

The yacht’s white hull is accented by dark glazing that stretches along both decks, giving her profile a clean and confident line. The upper structure sits low and sleek, with large windows that fill the interior with natural light. The enclosed flybridge creates additional living space without losing the sense of openness that defines the Ocean range.

Teak decking runs throughout the exterior spaces. The broad beach club extends the experience right to the water, complete with a hydraulic platform, retractable passerelle, shower, speakers, barbecue grill, and the Sunseeker X-TEND™ convertible seating system. The upper deck offers a wide social area with lounge seating and uninterrupted panoramic glazing that connects directly to the sea view. The foredeck includes a sail canopy supported by eight carbon fibre poles, providing shade for relaxed time outdoors.

Interior Design

The interior of Worth the Wait was created by Italian Design Unlimited and has the quiet confidence of a well-designed coastal home. Large windows and floor-to-ceiling glass on the main deck bring the sea into every corner. The main saloon is arranged for easy conversation and relaxed living, with a spacious corner sofa, soft neutral fabrics, and light oak flooring that keeps the atmosphere bright.

A sculptural staircase rises to the upper deck without breaking the view, supported by glass panels and polished handrails. Overhead, recessed lighting adds a gentle warmth after dark. Forward, the yacht’s only helm position sits on the upper deck, leaving the main deck entirely for guest living and dining. Next to the helm, a well-equipped L-shaped bar includes refrigeration, an ice maker, and a sink, serving both the indoor and outdoor areas.

Across the interior, the materials are modern but welcoming, with walnut cabinetry, satin finishes, and subtle detailing.

Accommodation

Worth the Wait provides accommodation for up to ten guests in four cabins, with quarters for four crew located aft for privacy.

The full-beam owner’s suite sits amidships on the lower deck, taking advantage of the yacht’s widest point. Large hull windows bring in daylight and sea views. The space includes a king-sized bed, optional sofa or breakfast seating, and a generous en suite bathroom finished to a high standard.

Forward, the VIP suite acts as a second main cabin, while two additional doubles and one twin cabin each include private en suite bathrooms. The twin can be arranged as a double when needed. The décor continues the same calm palette as the saloon, with soft tones, textured materials, and well-placed lighting.

Crew accommodation consists of two cabins accommodating four with a shared bathroom, mess, and galley. Access through the side deck keeps service areas discreet and separate from guest spaces.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel MAN (V12-1900) 1,900hp engines, motor yacht Worth The Wait is capable of reaching a top speed of 27 knots, and comfortably cruises at 12 knots. With her 3,434 gallon fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 1,100 nautical miles at 12 knots.
