Delivered in 2020 as the twentieth hull in the Sanlorenzo SD126 series, she features exterior design by Francesco Paszkowski Design, interiors by Citterio Viel and naval architecture developed in-house by Sanlorenzo.
The interior of the yacht for sale follows a contemporary residential approach, using neutral tones, natural light and carefully selected materials to create a calm setting for extended periods on board. Large windows brighten the main saloon, where lounge seating is paired with a formal dining area, while a separate upper saloon provides an additional social space with elevated views.
A dedicated gym and cinema broaden the yacht’s appeal for owners planning longer stays aboard. The interior also demonstrates the emphasis Sanlorenzo placed on spatial planning throughout the Sanlorenzo SD range. That philosophy could also be seen on the smaller Sanlorenzo SD92, a 27.6m semi-displacement model produced between 2007 and 2018, where practical cruising spaces and traditional navetta styling were central to the design.
The Citterio Viel connection also links Kia Ora to the earlier Sanlorenzo SD112. The 34.1m model marked the studio’s debut in yacht design and developed an interior language that drew on traditional yacht architecture while introducing a more residential approach to furniture, materials and spatial flow.
Francesco Paszkowski Design gave Kia Ora the distinctive profile associated with Sanlorenzo’s SD line, combining a raised bow, flowing superstructure and extensive outdoor areas across three decks. With a gross tonnage of 314GT, with an 8m beam, the yacht offers substantial exterior space for dining, lounging and access to the water.
The sundeck on board the superyacht for sale includes a Jacuzzi, bar and sunpads, while additional lounge and dining areas are positioned across the aft decks. A swimming platform and beach club provide direct access to the sea, supported by underwater lights and a tender garage for storing equipment away from the principal guest spaces.
The yard later explored a more crossover-focused approach with the 26.7m Sanlorenzo SX88, which introduced a large open stern platform and a fast displacement hull capable of 23 knots. While the SX88 is more compact and performance-led, its emphasis on flexible exterior living provides an interesting comparison with Kia Ora’s more traditional three-deck arrangement.
The motor yacht for sale accommodates up to 10 guests across five cabins, comprising an owner’s suite, two double cabins and two twin cabins. The owner’s suite is arranged as a private retreat with large windows, an en suite bathroom and contemporary entertainment systems.
Kia Ora is powered by twin 1,469hp MTU 12V 2000 M72 diesel engines, producing a combined 2,938hp. Her semi-displacement GRP hull allows her to reach a top speed of 16 knots, while her cruising speed is 11 knots.
Kia Ora is listed for sale on YachtBuyer and is currently asking €11,300,000.
