Built at Benetti's Livorno shipyard, Dagger belongs to the Benetti B.Now 67M Oasis series and features a steel hull, aluminium superstructure and an internal volume of 1,334 GT. Her exterior styling is by British studio RWD, with fully customised interiors by Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design and naval architecture engineered by Benetti. The yacht's hybrid system forms part of the builder's ongoing development of alternative propulsion technologies.
Hybrid propulsion designed for quieter cruising
The superyacht's hybrid system combines two Caterpillar C32 main engines, three generators, two 200kW electric motors and a 360kWh sodium-metal chloride battery bank. Three operating modes allow the yacht to cruise at 7 knots using electric propulsion, 12 knots using the main engines or 10 knots with a single engine supported by the batteries. The system can also provide up to two hours of silent operation at anchor without running the generators, while the 12-knot configuration offers fuel savings of up to 15% compared with a conventional diesel-mechanical system.
Oasis Deck connects guests with the water
The yacht's exterior centres around Benetti's Oasis Deck, where opening side wings extend the width to 14m, creating an expansive waterfront terrace. An integrated infinity pool overlooks the stern, while the lower deck houses a beach club and wellness area alongside a separate garage for tenders and water toys.
Custom interiors by Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design
Inside, Dagger features a layout centred on adaptable living spaces and a connection to the surrounding sea. The main deck houses a saloon, while the upper deck features an owner's lounge opening directly onto an aft terrace. Floor-to-ceiling windows extending 6m along the lounge bring natural light into the interior and provide panoramic views. The arrangement creates distinct areas for relaxation and entertaining, with the main and upper decks offering different settings for guests to enjoy.
Accommodation across three decks
The motor yacht features six guest/VIP cabins on the main deck, each with panoramic windows. The owner's accommodation occupies a dedicated upper-deck area, incorporating a master suite, private office, two bathrooms and a forward-facing private terrace. Separate lower-deck quarters accommodate up to 16 crew members across nine cabins, with the captain's cabin positioned on the bridge deck.
Benetti continues its hybrid development
Dagger forms part of Benetti's Green Route sustainability programme, building on the shipyard's experience with diesel-electric propulsion dating back to 2006. More recent developments include the B.Neos, conceived exclusively with a full-hybrid propulsion system.
Dagger demonstrates how hybrid technology can influence onboard comfort through quieter cruising and flexible energy management.
