Third and Final 80m Bilgin 263 Superyacht Al Reem Successfully Delivered

Bilgin Yachts has officially delivered the 80m superyacht Al Reem, who is now embarking on her maiden voyage and bound for the Mediterranean.

Al Reem is the third and final yacht in the Bilgin 263 series. Now on her maiden voyage, she will spend the summer cruising the coastlines of Bodrum and beyond.

The Culmination of a Flagship Series

First launched in 2020 with Tatiana - the largest yacht ever built in Türkiye at the time - Bilgin’s 80-meter series has significantly elevated the shipyard’s global profile. The second yacht, Leona, delivered in 2023, earned international recognition for its design, including the 'Motor Yacht over 60m' at the 2024 International Yacht and Aviation Awards.

Each of the three sisterships is distinct... we tailored Al Reem’s layout and design to deliver a sleek and luxurious experience while maintaining a connection to nature.”

Now, Al Reem arrives as the most voluminous and technically refined of the three, bringing the series to a close with an assertive and elegant evolution.

Al Reem's Design and Naval Architecture

Styled inside and out by Unique Yacht Design, Al Reem sets herself apart with a larger volume and bolder proportions. Her gross tonnage reaches 1,758 GT - almost 100 GT more than Tatiana - achieved by a full redesign of the superstructure. This has introduced smoother lines, an elongated profile, and a mast 20% larger than her sisterships. The exterior finish features a dramatic mix of metallic gray-white and black, while the teak-clad foredeck adds a warm, natural touch to the otherwise sleek presentation.

A highlight of the exterior layout is the significantly expanded aft deck, which offers 20% more outdoor living space than her predecessors. Inside the yacht, large panes of glass in the main and upper salons draw the outside in, reinforcing the yacht’s overarching theme of openness and connection with nature.

Owner’s Vision and Interior by H2 Yacht Design

Bilgin once again enlisted H2 Yacht Design for the interiors, continuing a collaboration that began with Tatiana and Leona. For Al Reem, however, H2 pursued a distinct aesthetic centered on calm, natural elegance. Founder Jonny Horsfield explains that the palette of the superyacht is deliberately soft and neutral, with matt-finished timbers, cream leather paneling, and polished stainless steel accents. These materials come together in a balance of warmth and sophistication.

Further enriching the interior are bespoke decorative glass elements and statement marble surfaces with distinctive veining, adding layers of texture and light play. The flooring mixes timber with silk carpets for a refined tactile experience. “We developed a completely new interior aesthetic for Al Reem, focusing on a light and neutral palette that feels fresh yet calming on the soul," said Horsfield.

According to the team, the owner played an active role in shaping the design brief. The vision of the motor yacht was clear: a tranquil and modern retreat with ample space for both solitude and social time. The layout was customized to include generous lounge zones, expansive decks, and versatile interior settings tailored for peaceful living and ocean immersion.

Built with a steel hull and aluminum superstructure, Al Reem is a full-displacement yacht with a beam of 12.25 meters and a maximum draft of 3.5 meters. Powered by twin MTU 16V 4000 M73 engines delivering 2,560 kW each, she reaches a top speed of 19 knots and cruises comfortably at 15 knots. With a fuel capacity of 168,000 liters and an expected range of over 5,000 nautical miles at economical speed, Al Reem is equipped for long-range cruising in complete comfort.

More to Come: Bilgin’s Upcoming Yachts

With Al Reem completing the Bilgin 263 trilogy, the Turkish shipyard is now focused on expanding its custom yacht portfolio. According to YachtBuyer Market Watch, Bilgin currently has 12 yachts in build or on order, with activity spanning several key series. The Bilgin 170 is among the most active, with up to eight units underway. This 52-meter platform, developed with Unique Yacht Design and Hot Lab, features a steel hull, aluminum superstructure, and a 5,000-nautical-mile range. Accommodation is for 12 guests in six cabins, with an expansive sundeck that includes a Jacuzzi and dining area.

Also progressing is the 53-meter Bilgin 173, a close sibling to the 170 with similar guest capacity and layout but a slightly shorter range. At the larger end, the new Bilgin 243 series introduces a 74-meter platform with nine guest cabins and a crew complement of 16. These full-displacement yachts are built in steel with steel-aluminum superstructures and offer a 5,000-nautical-mile range. As Al Reem enters service, Bilgin is turning its attention to the next generation of custom builds, consolidating its position across the 50- to 70-meter segment.

Al Reem closes the chapter on Bilgin’s flagship 80-meter series with bold design, increased volume, and a refined interior tailored for tranquil cruising. As she begins her maiden season, the shipyard now shifts focus to a growing fleet of next-generation custom yachts across the 50- to 70-meter range.
