Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 13m beam and a 3.6m draft. The yacht is built over 4 decks with an internal volume of 2,150 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Exterior Design
The exterior design of the Bilgin 282 has a sleek and modern profile, drawing similarities to the 2021 Bilgin yacht M/Y Tatiana. The yacht features sophisticated exterior details, complemented by additional glass on the forward bulwarks. The design includes a bullet-like bow, adding to its fast and aggressive appearance.
The yacht's forward tender store is enclosed, accommodating a 7.6-meter and a 5.65-meter tender, along with three jet skis. The foredeck is equipped with a touch-and-go helipad, providing convenient access for guests. The exterior design is further enhanced by a fold-down side beach platform at the full-beam beach club, which also includes a steam room and massage room.
The Bilgin 282 is fitted with a pool at the beach club, a jacuzzi on the main aft deck, and another jacuzzi on the owner deck forward exterior. These features provide ample leisure opportunities for guests. The yacht's design also incorporates a full glass circular elevator in the main lobby, spanning from the lower deck to the top deck, and a fold-down shell door in the gym area on the lower deck.
Interior Design
The interior of Project Bond comes from H2 Yacht Design, with owner involvement expected to play a major role in the final atmosphere and layout. The broad design direction is one of openness, light and a stronger link to the sea, so large windows and floor-to-ceiling glazing are central to how the yacht will feel inside.
A circular full-glass elevator runs from the lower deck to the top deck, and that feature does more than solve access. It gives the central lobby a strong architectural focal point, and it helps tie the decks together in a yacht that is otherwise very large in volume at 2,150GT. On a yacht of this scale, circulation matters, and this setup should make movement between the main guest levels much more straightforward.
The main saloon is conceived as the primary social hub, with seating and dining arranged in one large open volume. Bridge deck and owner’s deck lounges add further interior gathering areas, so the yacht can split guest use across multiple zones depending on mood, privacy or time of day. That matters on an 82m yacht, because people rarely use every room in the same way.
Project Bond also includes a gym and a dedicated cinema room, which gives the interior a broader lifestyle brief than simple lounge and dining spaces. Pantries on the main and bridge decks support service, while the main galley is planned around practical crew use. Lower down, the tank deck adds cold and frozen storage as well as laundry, which supports the yacht’s long-range role and helps back up the guest experience on extended passages.
Accommodation
Project Bond is designed to accommodate up to 16 guests across eight cabins, with space for 21 crew plus the captain. That puts the yacht firmly into serious world-cruising territory, where guest comfort and operational support need to work side by side.
The master suite sits on the owner’s deck and is one of the key spaces on board. It includes a king-size bed, ensuite bathroom, walk-in wardrobe and a private office, while the surrounding glazing is intended to bring in broad sea views and more natural light than a typical enclosed owner’s apartment. With a private jacuzzi forward on the owner’s exterior deck too, this level is set up as a true owner domain.
Below that, the guest arrangement allows for different layouts depending on how the yacht is finalised. The lower deck includes three guest cabins, while the main deck can be configured with either four more guest cabins or two larger VIP cabins. That level of flexibility matters, because an owner using the yacht privately may want a different balance from one running it with charter use in mind.
Crew accommodation is substantial, with room for 21 crew plus the captain. On a yacht of this length and complexity, that operational depth is essential, and it supports the service, maintenance and guest flow expected of a flagship new build.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MTU (16V 4000M73) engines running at 1970rpm, motor yacht Project Bond is capable of reaching a top speed of 17 knots, and comfortably cruises at 15 knots. With her 195,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 5,000 nautical miles at an economic speed of 11 knots.
