  • Generous aft deck with retractable shade
  • Spacious foredeck sunpad and seating
  • Full-beam owner's stateroom with ensuite
  • Two MTU engines, 7,300hp total

Design & Construction

Designed around a planing GRP hull and superstructure she features a 7.76m beam and a 1.35m draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 265 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Construction started in early 2006. This was the tenth yacht built on the Mangusta 130 design. She was delivered to her owners in July 2007.

Exterior Design

Plan A presents the unmistakable profile of a Mangusta 130 - sleek, assertive, and effortlessly stylish. Her hull and superstructure are finished in a crisp white, with a black bootstrap and a pinstripe detail adding contrast and definition. The overall silhouette is sporty and aerodynamic, with forward-angled stanchions and a streamlined superstructure that speak to her performance pedigree.

Deck space has been carefully prioritised in the design. The aft deck is generously proportioned, featuring an aft-facing sunpad and a central dining area that’s both inviting and practical. A retractable shade adds versatility, and two concealed lockers provide tidy storage for water toys. The yacht also carries a 4.9m (16ft) Castoldi tender in a dedicated garage, enabling smooth transitions ashore.

Forward, the expansive foredeck doubles as a sun-worshipper’s retreat and social hub, fitted with ample sunpads and a more relaxed table setup - ideal for informal gatherings. The scale of this area makes it a natural spot for both lounging and entertaining, with uninterrupted views across the bow.

With Plan A’s foredeck, you’re not choosing between sunbathing space and social zones - you get both.

Interior Design

The interior of Plan A carries a distinctive and high-end character, conceived in collaboration with Earlcrown of London. The main salon is designed to harness natural light and features a rich palette of high-gloss wenge wood, chrome accents, leather details, and natural fabrics. Seating is arranged to encourage conversation, while a formal dining table sits centrally, with the option to enjoy open-sky meals thanks to a sliding roof overhead.

Stepping forward from the salon leads to the helm station - a commanding space that feels almost like the bridge of a starship. The yacht’s twin MTU engines, paired with Kamewa water jets, are controlled from here, putting 7,300 horsepower at the fingertips of the captain.

Additional practical facilities are tucked away in the crew quarters, which include a dedicated galley and laundry area - essential for smooth onboard operations.

Accommodation

Accommodation on board Plan A is arranged to host up to 12 guests across five suites, with further provision for up to eight crew in four cabins.

The master stateroom sits on the lower deck, stretching full beam and showcasing neutral tones, plush textures, and premium finishes. It includes a private seating area, a large en suite clad in Italian marble, and even a personal hammam - adding a spa-like touch to this already indulgent space.

Forward lies a generously sized VIP stateroom, also featuring a hammam en suite. Two double cabins and a twin with bunk beds and a Pullman berth complete the guest arrangement, allowing flexible sleeping configurations. Every cabin benefits from a private en suite finished in matching Italian marble, echoing the standard set by the master suite.

Crew quarters are located aft of the guest spaces - an arrangement that maximises space and enhances privacy. The full beam is used effectively here, with accommodation for seven to eight crew members in four separate cabins. Locating the crew aft also serves as a noise buffer between the guest areas and the engine room.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel MTU (16V 4000 M90) 16-cylinder 3,642hp engines, motor yacht Plan A is capable of reaching a top speed of 32 knots, and comfortably cruises at 25 knots. Her planing hull design means she is fast and efficient as she slices through the water.

Plan A proves a powerful yacht can also be a refined one.
