Design & Construction
Designed around a planing GRP hull and superstructure she features a 6.27m beam and a 1.81m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 122 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Exterior Design
Agave carries the sharp, low-profile stance that defines the Princess V85 range, with a long swept roofline, sculpted hull sides and deep-V planing hull drawn by Bernard Olesinski. Her dark hull contrasts against the white superstructure, while elongated hull windows and recessed glazing pull the profile visually lower toward the waterline. The flybridge remains compact and well integrated into the roof structure, so the yacht keeps the clean sports yacht proportions of the V Class series rather than taking on the bulk of a traditional flybridge yacht.
At 25.9m (85ft) in length with a 6.3m (20.8ft) beam, Agave combines the look of an open performance cruiser with the internal volume of a much larger motor yacht. The sweeping sheerline runs cleanly from the raised bow down toward the broad aft cockpit, creating the stretched, forward-leaning posture typical of Princess’ larger sports yachts.
The aft cockpit centres around an alfresco dining area positioned beneath the protection of the hardtop overhang, while the stern connects directly to a hydraulic bathing platform for swimming or tender handling. A garage below stores a 4m jet RIB or water toys, keeping the aft deck clear when underway.
Above, the flybridge provides an additional open-air social deck with sunbathing areas, casual seating and a compact helm station. The black canvas bimini softens the upper profile while still allowing the flybridge to remain visually discreet within the yacht’s roofline.
Forward, the foredeck incorporates integrated sunpads and a separate lounge seating area protected by the raised coachroof. Wide side decks and stainless guardrails allow safe movement around the yacht, while the large electrically operated sliding sunroof over the main saloon opens the interior directly to the outside when conditions allow.
Interior Design
Agave’s main deck follows an open-plan arrangement centred around natural light, dark gloss finishes and wide social spaces. The saloon connects directly with the cockpit aft and benefits from the large retractable sunroof overhead, allowing the space to shift between enclosed comfort and open-air cruising.
Forward within the saloon, a dining area seats up to eight guests around a large table positioned beneath the sliding roof section. The interior combines high-gloss timber finishes with large side windows and soft neutral furnishings, creating a lighter feel than many sports yachts of this generation.
The galley sits below deck and is equipped for extended cruising or charter operation with refrigeration, dishwasher, oven, washing machine, deep freezer and generous storage throughout. WiFi connectivity, integrated entertainment systems and climate control support longer stays aboard, while stabilisers underway and at anchor help maintain comfort whether cruising or stationary.
Accommodation
Agave accommodates up to eight guests across four ensuite cabins located on the lower deck. The arrangement includes a full-beam owner’s cabin, one VIP cabin and two convertible twin cabins, giving the yacht flexibility for family cruising or charter use. She also carries accommodation for up to four crew in two separate crew cabins.
The owner’s suite takes advantage of the yacht’s beam with a broad sleeping area, integrated storage and large hull windows that bring natural light deep into the cabin. The VIP cabin forward mirrors the same contemporary styling approach, while the two twin guest cabins can convert into doubles.
She is also capable of carrying up to 4 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MTU (16V 2000 CR) 16-cylinder 2,000hp engines, motor yacht Agave is capable of reaching a top speed of 34 knots, and comfortably cruises at 24 knots. With her 6,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 280 nautical miles at 24 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters. Her planing hull design means she is fast and efficient as she slices through the water.
Amenities
Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort.
