Delivered in 2017, Beyond Capricorn is a 78'7" expedition yacht for sale built by Turkish shipyard Bering Yachts. Her naval architecture and exterior design comes from the drawing boards of SABDES Design.

Design & Construction
Designed around a full displacement steel hull and a GRP superstructure she features a 25'9" beam and a 8'6" draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 233 GT (Gross Tonnes).
This was the first yacht built on the Bering 80 design. Launched in May 2016 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in July 2016.
Exterior Design
Beyond Capricorn is a full-displacement expedition yacht built on the Bering 80 platform, known for its rugged styling and open-ocean capabilities. Her design is unmistakably purposeful, defined by a towering bow with high reserve buoyancy that helps her rise confidently over large swells in rough water. From every angle, the yacht’s profile emphasizes seaworthiness, with a powerful hull form and a Portuguese bridge forward of the pilothouse that evokes the classic lines of a true passagemaker.
Wide side decks to port and starboard aid with docking and line handling, contributing to the yacht’s practical, go-anywhere character. At full load, Beyond Capricorn displaces more than 220 tonnes (485,000 pounds), with fuel capacity that allows for extended autonomy over 6,000 nautical miles. On deck, the yacht is equipped with a bathing platform for water access, a Jacuzzi, and generous social spaces that include a bar and built-in barbeque facilities. Wireless internet and full air conditioning systems are also integrated into the onboard experience.
Interior Design
The interior volume of Beyond Capricorn is exceptional, made possible by her 7.85m (25ft 8in) beam. Generous proportions run throughout, creating substantial living spaces both above and below deck. On the main deck, the saloon offers a flexible and social layout. A large L-shaped settee can be positioned aft, facing freestanding armchairs or ottomans, while a dedicated dining area forward accommodates larger groups for meals. The seamless flow into the galley encourages an informal, open-plan feel.
Forward of the saloon is the galley, well-equipped for long-distance cruising or family-style living. It features a ceramic granite plank floor and granite worktops, along with serious catering capability. Appliances include a 900mm induction hob, two Pyrolytic wall ovens, a full-size dishwasher, microwave, Broan trash compactor, and no fewer than four refrigerator/freezer units, including two full-height Samsung fridges, a stand-up freezer, and both drawer-style and high-capacity icemaking equipment.
Up a level, the raised pilothouse delivers more than just command and control. Alongside the helm station and full suite of navigation equipment, there’s space set aside for an office or library - ideal for extended cruising or onboard working. Crew also benefit from a practical mess area with its own LG combo washer/dryer. Additional laundry equipment includes Siemens washing and condenser drying units.
Accommodation
Beyond Capricorn offers accommodation for up to 8 guests in 4 suites comprising an owners cabin, 2 double cabins and 2 twin cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 6 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel Cummins (QSM 11) 350hp engines, motor yacht Beyond Capricorn is capable of reaching a top speed of 10 knots, and comfortably cruises at 9 knots. With her 11,624 gallon fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 6,000 nautical miles at 9 knots.
