  • 170GT volume under 24 metres
  • Pilothouse with commercial helm layout
  • Full galley with deep stowage

Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 23'11" beam and a 6'11" draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 198 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Launched in April 2021 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in August 2021.

Exterior Design

Veronika is a 23.47m (77ft) steel-hulled explorer yacht with an exterior that reflects serious ocean-going intent. At 7.32m (24ft) across the beam, her volume and proportions immediately stand out. She’s built just under the 24m threshold that differentiates private from full superyacht classification, giving her the operational freedom of a smaller vessel with the feel and features of something much larger.

Her aft swim platform spans the full width of the beam and is kept clear of tender storage by design. This makes it a versatile waterside space - suitable for setting up loungers, a fishing station, or even just relaxing at anchor. Retractable cleats, a transom shower, indirect lighting, a fold-out Bessenzoni boarding ladder, and flush horn cleats are among the many thoughtful touches here.

The yacht is engineered with serious equipment - oversized bollards and capstans, 168kg (370lb) anchors, and heavy-duty stainless-steel chain handling, all pointing to her robust capabilities. Safety railings around the deck stand at 1.1m (3.6ft), built to international standards. Boarding gates are located at both main and upper deck levels to accommodate fixed piers or finger docks, with access to the engine room cleverly integrated through a hatch just aft.

A key feature is the expansive foredeck. There’s over 200m (656ft) of chain on each side, salt and freshwater wash systems for the anchor and deck gear, and large storage lockers with direct access to the crew area below - ideal for provisioning without disturbing the interior. Hidden behind the fairing, the stainless-steel reinforcements prevent rust streaks and boost durability.

Moving up, the boat deck is a completely open and adaptable space. It can carry tenders up to 5m (16.4ft), Jet Skis, or even a small car, using the 850kg (1,874lb) Steelhead Marine crane. Once the tender is launched, the deck becomes a blank canvas - suitable for sun loungers, al fresco dining, or even a DJ booth, with open-air entertaining easily supported.

Up top, the flybridge offers panoramic views and generous space for relaxing or socialising. Twin dining tables can be joined for up to 12 guests, with service stations for drinks and dishes, and a hardtop fitted with discreet solar panels. These panels are vented with mesh to avoid overheating, built flush to preserve clean lines. Courtesy lights are used throughout - dimmable and low wattage for subtle evening ambiance.

There’s an outdoor kitchen with sink, dual hot plates, twin fridges, and the area can be fully enclosed for comfort in colder climates. Observation chairs sit high at the aft corners - adjustable and secure, they make this an ideal spot for wildlife watching or enjoying the horizon.

Additional details include six surveillance cameras positioned for docking and security, outlets integrated into exterior furniture, and 75.7-litre (20-gallon) fuel overspill reservoirs hidden within the bulwarks. The entire yacht is engineered for silent operation - even at anchor - with redundant systems and heavy insulation to eliminate vibration and minimise onboard noise.

Veronika's galley, outfitted like a home kitchen, makes life onboard surprisingly easy.

Interior Design

The interior of Veronika reveals the same purposeful approach as her exterior - solid construction, warm tones, and thoughtful details throughout. Oak is the primary wood finish, including flooring and cabinetry, with a resilient gloss coating akin to superyacht exterior paintwork. This can be repolished to remove scratches, preserving its finish over time.

The main salon features deep, plush seating with ample storage tucked beneath. The dining table is mounted on a track system, allowing it to slide closer to the forward wall for smaller groups, or expand to accommodate larger gatherings. Large side windows flood the space with light, each fitted with blackout blinds for comfort. There’s a pop-up TV, integrated wine cooler, full bar, and extensive cabinetry - all finished to the same high standard.

Just forward is the pilot house, accessed directly from either side deck or through the galley. The helm is equipped with two Furuno TZT touchscreens, the Poseidon ship monitoring system, proportional hydraulic thrusters (53hp), and an array of navigation and communication tools, including dual VHFs and a loudhailer. The layout is designed for clarity and ease of use, with old-school analogue backups for critical functions.

A dayhead is tucked into the pilothouse area, conveniently placed between the flybridge stairs and cockpit - fitted with a window for ventilation and natural light.

The galley is a standout feature, unusually spacious for a yacht of this size. With a full domestic refrigerator, deep freezer, Miele coffee machine, microwave, oven, and ice maker, it’s a fully equipped culinary workspace. There’s also a trash compactor, dishwasher, extensive storage including deep drawers and tall cabinets, and outlets compatible with international plug types. The galley is separated from the pilot house with a solid partition, offering noise isolation and privacy when required.

Every component - from drawer runners to the screws - uses marine-grade 316L stainless steel. Storage throughout is impressively deep, and the layout allows easy circulation. There’s even a workstation or vanity in the master with a concealed lift-up top, backlit mirror, and chilled drawer below.

Accommodation

Veronika offers three guest cabins, each with a king-size bed, ensuite bathroom, and generous storage. Both guest cabins are mirror images of each other, located on the lower deck port and starboard. Each includes under-bed storage large enough for full suitcases, wardrobes with hanging space, and smartly designed lighting and finishes. Bathrooms feature large walk-in showers, ample counter space, and bidet-function toilets.

The master suite, located amidships, is significantly larger. It features a king-size bed, full walk-in wardrobe with custom storage, washer-dryer unit, a vanity/desk setup, and its own refrigerator. Large hull windows bring in natural light, with privacy and blackout options available. The master ensuite is larger than the guest equivalents, with more storage and a walk-in shower.

Crew accommodation is placed forward and is well considered for a yacht of this length. It includes two cabins - one with bunks, the other convertible - a separate shared bathroom with walk-in shower, a compact galley, full-size washer and dryer, and a mess area for dining or off-hours relaxation. The crew area also connects directly to the lower provisioning and storage decks.

Beneath the crew quarters is a vast storage and utility space, housing freezers, deep shelves, and access to systems including the bow thruster tunnel. This allows long-range provisioning and makes the yacht fully autonomous for extended expeditions.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin Cummins (QSM-11) 6-cylinder 355hp engines running at 1800rpm, motor yacht Veronika is capable of reaching a top speed of 11 knots, and comfortably cruises at 8 knots. With her 6,340 gallon fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 4,000 nautical miles at 8 knots.

Veronika's battery and inverter bank enable whisper-quiet nights at anchor.

Amenities

In addition, a swim platform provides easy access to the ocean. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort, while underwater lights create a dazzling light display when the sun goes down.
