The 39.65m open yacht Luce was delivered to her owners in 2004 by Italian shipyard Mangusta. Her exterior design comes from the drawing boards of Stefano Righini, while Mangusta is responsible for her naval architecture.
Design & Construction
Designed around a planing GRP hull and superstructure she features a 7.76m beam and a 1.35m draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 259 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Construction started in late 2002. This was the first yacht built on the Mangusta 130 design. Launched in May 2004 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in June 2004.
Accommodation
Luce offers accommodation for up to 10 guests in 5 suites. She is also capable of carrying up to 6 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MTU (16V 4000 M90) 16-cylinder 3,642hp engines running at 2100rpm, motor yacht Luce is capable of reaching a top speed of 37 knots, and comfortably cruises at 32 knots. With her 24,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 599 nautical miles. Her planing hull design means she is fast and efficient as she slices through the water.
