The 34.1m motor yacht Naya 7 was delivered to her owners in 2016 by Italian shipyard Sanlorenzo. Her interior design and exterior styling comes from the drawing boards of Francesco Paszkowski Design, while Sanlorenzo is responsible for her naval architecture.

Key Features

  • Sundeck spa pool
  • 2,750nm cruising range
  • Full-beam skylounge
  • Main-deck owner's suite

Design & Construction

Designed around a semi-displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 7.66m beam and a 2.06m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 266 GT (Gross Tonnes).

This was the fifty-second yacht built on the SD112 design. She was completed at Sanlorenzo's Viareggio yard in Italy where she was commissioned and delivered to her owners.

Exterior Design

Naya 7 is a 34.1m (111.9ft) Sanlorenzo SD112 with the rounded, slightly ship-like profile that Francesco Paszkowski developed for the SD range. She carries a lot of yacht within that length, at around 266GT, but the superstructure steps back cleanly as it rises and the long horizontal windows stop the profile becoming too heavy.

The hull was repainted in Nardo Grey during work completed in 2024, which gives this particular SD112 a much darker, more contemporary appearance than the white-hulled examples more commonly associated with the series.

The main deck aft connects directly with the saloon, while fold-down sections of bulwark bring the interior closer to the water. It was one of the more useful ideas within the SD112 layout because the extra exterior space comes from the sides of the saloon rather than requiring a much larger stern.

Above, the upper deck combines a full skylounge with another large aft terrace. Retractable glazing allows the two areas to work together, and the outdoor section includes formal dining for ten beneath the overhang.

The sundeck adds a spa pool, sunpads and wet bar, while a separate lounge sits forward on the bow. At water level, the stern provides a beach area and bathing platform, with the tender and water scooter kept in the garage rather than left on the guest decks.

Interior Design

Francesco Paszkowski Design handled Naya 7's interior as well as her exterior, giving this particular hull a consistency that is not shared by every SD112.

Warm timber floors and cabinetry form the background, with beige and cream upholstery, darker brown detailing and occasional glossy finishes. It is quite a restrained scheme, but not a pale modern interior in the current fashion. There is enough dark timber to give the rooms warmth, while the lighter fabrics and large windows prevent them feeling closed in.

A spiral staircase forms the main vertical link between the guest decks and becomes one of the stronger interior features rather than being hidden behind a conventional stair enclosure.

The main saloon is primarily a lounge, with the large aft doors opening towards the cockpit and the fold-down side terrace bringing another connection to the exterior.

The upper skylounge provides a second indoor living room and connects through retractable glazing to the aft dining terrace. Splitting the social spaces over two decks is one of the advantages of the SD112's 266GT volume: the yacht does not have to force lounging, dining and entertainment into one long main-deck room.

Accommodation

Naya 7 accommodates ten guests in five en suite cabins, with the owner's suite forward on the main deck and two doubles and two twins below.

The owner's suite takes the full beam of the forward main deck, separating it from the guest cabins and machinery spaces below. The SD112 was designed from the outset around this arrangement, so the owner gets a proper main-deck suite rather than a cabin adapted into space originally intended for another purpose.

The four lower-deck guest cabins are divided evenly between doubles and twins. That makes Naya 7 straightforward for either family use or mixed adult groups, without relying heavily on convertible beds to reach the full ten-guest capacity.

Crew accommodation is provided for up to five, with guest and service areas kept separate through the interior.

Performance & Capabilities

Naya 7 is powered by twin MTU 10V 2000 M93 diesels producing around 1,500hp each.

Top speed is approximately 18 knots, while normal cruising speed is around 10 knots. With 28,000 litres of fuel, she has a quoted range of approximately 2,750 nautical miles at 11 knots.

Those figures suit the SD112 far better than chasing high speed. The semi-displacement hull was developed around comfortable cruising in the low teens, giving Naya 7 substantially more range than Sanlorenzo's faster SL models while still allowing her to run at close to 18 knots when required. The wider SD112 range was offered with the same 1,500hp MTU package and quoted at around 2,750nm at 11 knots.

At-anchor stabilisers add another useful element for longer stays away from marinas, reducing roll when the yacht is sitting in an exposed anchorage.
