The 39.2m motor yacht Oceano 39/ 05 is being constructed by Italian shipyard Mangusta and is due to be delivered in 2026. Her naval architecture and exterior design comes from the drawing boards of Mangusta, while M2 Atelier is responsible for her interior design.

Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 8.5m beam and a 2.25m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 330 GT (Gross Tonnes).

This was the fifth yacht built on the Oceano 39 design. Launched in March 2026 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months.

Exterior Design

The Mangusta Oceano 39 platform carries a contemporary profile developed by Alberto Mancini, with elongated lines and extensive glazing shaping the yacht’s appearance.

Large floor-to-ceiling windows run along the main and upper decks, allowing natural light to enter the interior spaces and maintaining continuous views toward the sea. On the upper deck, glazed gunwales reduce visual bulk along the superstructure while improving sightlines from inside the yacht.

At the stern, the yacht features a beach house-style aft area positioned close to the waterline. Opening side terraces extend the usable deck space outward when deployed, creating a broader waterside lounge area.

Forward on the bow sits one of the defining features of the Oceano series: an infinity pool with a partially glass bottom. The transparent section allows light to pass through to the owner’s suite located beneath, linking the exterior feature with the interior spaces below.

Together, these elements reflect the design goal behind the Oceano line, which prioritises natural light, open sightlines and a consistent visual connection between interior spaces and the surrounding sea.

Interior Design

The interior design of Oceano 39/05 was developed by M2Atelier, the Milan-based studio known for residential-inspired yacht interiors.

Details of the layout remain private, although the design was tailored to the preferences of the yacht’s owner, an experienced cruiser described by the shipyard as a long-time participant in the yachting world.

Across the Oceano 39 platform, interior spaces are arranged to maximise daylight and outside views. Large windows along the main and upper decks introduce natural light throughout the living areas while maintaining a strong connection with the sea.

The overall concept focuses on a calm and contemporary atmosphere, with the design shaped around extended time on board as well as relaxed social spaces for guests.

Accommodation

Accommodation is arranged across the main and lower decks and supports the internal volume of approximately 330GT.

The owner’s suite is positioned forward, directly beneath the bow infinity pool. Light from the pool’s glass-bottom section filters down into the cabin below, creating a distinctive feature within the space.

Guest cabins are located on the lower deck and provide private accommodation for extended cruising. She is also capable of carrying up to 5 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel MTU (16V 2000 M96L) 16-cylinder 2,600hp engines running at 2450rpm, motor yacht Oceano 39/ 05 is capable of reaching a top speed of 19 knots, and comfortably cruises at 16 knots.
