2025 Cannes Yachting Festival: Doors Close As 2026 Dates Announced

The Cannes Yachting Festival has closed its doors on another event filled with gleaming production yachts, with preparations already underway for next year's showcase.

Concluding the show on 14 September, Vieux Port and Port Canto witnessed a footfall of over 55,000 with 103 superyachts making their global or show debut.

With further yachts adorning the Bay of Cannes at anchor, including the iconic 107m (350ft) sailing yacht BLACK PEARL and 73m (240ft) luxury yacht AXIOMA, this year's program introduced the European market to an incredible selection of nautical niches with new, refitted, and future builds on display around the dedicated exhibits.

Around the pontoons

Priding itself on the inclusion of 5-50m boats and yachts for sale, the Cannes Yachting Festival appeals to the wider market of yacht ownership, with the largest in-water display of large sailing yachts, a dedicated marina for 8-12 metre boats, and the showstopping superyacht extension.

The 2025 edition once again proved how pivotal this event is for the yachting industry, with many well-known shipyards returning with elaborate displays, such as Sanlorenzo, Benetti, and Sunseeker.

In addition to the streamlined fleet around the pontoons, 640 curated exhibitors were also in attendance with a range of nautical products and merchandise, along with must-have extras for yachting lifestyle packages like watersports equipment and tenders.

Notable World Premieres

As the first major boat show of the season, the Cannes Yachting Festival is no stranger to an abundance of launches and premieres, and 2025 was no exception.

An enticing mix of global and show debuts were sprinkled around the docks of both marinas, with representatives on hand to offer advice on yacht ownership and operation, and escort visitors on guided tours and select sea trials.
