Though the layout remains confidential, the design is described as “innovative,” combining artisanal craftsmanship with contemporary functionality. A defining space within the Amels yacht is the Beach Club, positioned directly beneath a 6.5-meter glass-bottomed pool. This architectural feature channels daylight through the deck to illuminate the waterside area below, creating an open, tranquil atmosphere for relaxation.

The Beach Club itself spans three fold-down openings to the sea, incorporating a full wellness zone complete with spa, sauna, gym, and massage room. This emphasis on balance and wellbeing aligns with the broader design ethos seen throughout the Amels 80 series, where materials, texture, and form serve both comfort and practicality.
Among the yacht’s standout features is its 200-square-meter Sun Deck, one of the largest in its class. This elevated expanse serves as a social focal point, accommodating dining, lounging, and entertainment spaces with flexibility for customization. Like previous Amels 80 builds, the configuration allows each owner to imprint their own identity through tailored details and deck layouts, balanced by the stability and efficiency of a proven platform.
The superyacht will accommodate 14 guests across seven suites, including a spacious owner’s suite with private terraces and panoramic views. The guest cabins are arranged to optimize privacy and comfort, while crew quarters ensure efficient operation and service flow throughout the vessel.
Built to Damen Yachting’s highest technical standards, the Amels 80 is equipped with an advanced diesel-electric hybrid propulsion system. This setup enhances fuel efficiency, reduces noise and vibration, and allows for extended range at low speeds.
Currently under construction at Damen Yachting’s facility in Galati, Romania, the motor yacht will be transported to Vlissingen, the Netherlands, for final outfitting. Vlissingen City, home to Damen Yachting’s new-build and refit operations, continues to play a central role in the development of large custom and semi-custom yachts.
According to YachtBuyer Market Watch, the largest yacht database in the world, Amels currently has 10 yachts either in build or on order. The sixth Amels 80 yacht is scheduled for delivery in 2028.
