Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 9.3m beam and a 2.9m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 499 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Construction started in late 2023. This was the second yacht built on the 50Steel design. The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards. Launched in January 2026 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was completed at Sanlorenzo's La Spezia yard in Italy where she was commissioned and delivered to her owners in April 2026.
Exterior Design
The 50Steel / 173 has the distinctive staggered five-deck architecture introduced on Almax. Rather than stacking decks directly on top of each other, the layout steps aft in terraces, creating layered exterior platforms and a lower visual profile. Exterior lines are by Zuccon International Project and favour long horizontal glazing and clean surfaces over decorative detail.
The stern is organised around the beach club and pool, with strong visual and physical links to the Ocean Lounge positioned just above. This arrangement gives guests direct access between cabins, lounge and sea level, which is unusual on a yacht of this size.
Sanlorenzo’s patented Hidden Engine Room system shapes the exterior proportions as much as the styling does. By arranging the propulsion machinery on a single horizontal level below, the technical footprint is reduced and additional guest volume becomes available without exceeding 500 gross tons. The result is a steel 50-metre platform that offers the deck area and internal flexibility more often associated with larger yachts.
Interior Design
Interiors are developed by Sanlorenzo’s Style Department and continue the architectural logic of the exterior. The staggered deck arrangement creates split-level spaces, terraces and double-height connections rather than conventional flat-floor layouts.
A defining feature is the Ocean Lounge, positioned between the guest cabins and the beach club. This lower-deck living area acts as a second social hub and connects directly to the sea, alongside a spa and gym zone. The layout allows guests to move from cabins to wellness spaces and out to the beach club without passing through main circulation routes.
Accommodation
Lady Lulu offers accommodation for up to 10 guests in 5 suites. She is also capable of carrying up to 9 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MAN (D 2862 LE 489) 1,430hp engines, motor yacht Lady Lulu is capable of reaching a top speed of 16 knots, and comfortably cruises at 12 knots. With her 55,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 4,000 nautical miles.
