Design & Construction

Designed around a deep vee GRP hull and superstructure she features a 6.2m beam and a 2m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 76 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Exterior Design

The 26.02m (85.4ft) Riva 85 Opera Super yacht 888 carries the unmistakable styling language of Officina Italiana Design and Mauro Micheli, blending flowing curves with a low, elongated profile that still feels distinctly Riva. Finished in the yard’s signature Riva Cream gelcoat with deep navy detailing and raw teak decking, 888 balances classic Mediterranean styling with the sharper proportions of a fast planing yacht.

The superstructure rises smoothly toward the flybridge, while oversized side windows stretch deep into the hull profile to increase natural light below deck. Stainless steel detailing, matte teak cap rails and polished fittings give the exterior a clean, highly finished appearance without becoming overly decorative.

The flybridge is one of the yacht’s main social spaces. A semi-circular seating arrangement wraps around a teak dining table beneath the arch structure, while a forward sunbed and integrated bar with barbecue extend the entertaining options. A powered bimini system can shade much of the deck when required, giving the area more flexibility in stronger Mediterranean heat.

Aft, the cockpit centres around a large teak dining table surrounded by built-in seating. Wide sliding glass doors connect the space directly to the saloon, while side decks remain broad enough for safe movement forward. The transom incorporates an electro-hydraulic garage system for tender or jet ski storage, integrated neatly behind the teak-clad stern platform.

The foredeck keeps things simpler, with a large dedicated sunpad framed by polished stainless steel rails. The layout reflects the yacht’s overall approach: fast, elegant and comfortable without excessive complication.

Interior Design

Inside, 888 combines glossy lacquered finishes, rich timber craftsmanship and lighter contemporary touches introduced during her refit. The interior remains unmistakably Italian in character, with curved cabinetry, polished woodwork and carefully integrated lighting throughout the living spaces.

The main saloon uses a large L-shaped leather sofa as its focal point, arranged around low cabinetry and entertainment systems. Extensive glazing along both sides helps soften the darker timber finishes, while the elongated side windows maintain good visibility out toward the water.

The dining area sits forward within the main deck arrangement, closely connected to the saloon but still separated enough for more formal use when needed. Sliding glass doors aft allow the saloon and cockpit to operate as one continuous entertaining space in warmer conditions.

Across the accommodation areas, lacquered surfaces and blue-toned furnishings add contrast against the wood finishes. The styling remains consistent with the yacht’s exterior identity, carrying the same smooth lines and polished detailing into the guest spaces.

888 offers accommodation for up to 8 guests in 4 suites comprising an owners cabin, 1 VIP cabin and 2 twin cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 3 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel MTU (16V 2000 M91) 2,000hp engines, motor yacht 888 is capable of reaching a top speed of 34 knots, and comfortably cruises at 25 knots. With her 8,700 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 350 nautical miles at 25 knots.

Amenities

Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort. The sundeck is the social hub of the yacht and an inviting spread of sunpads.
