- Dedicated fishing and diving cockpit
- Raised granite-lined entertaining galley
- Upper skylounge with day head
- Full-beam master with walk-in closet
Design & Construction
Designed around a semi-displacement fiberglass hull and a fibreglass superstructure she features a 5.64m beam and a 1.83m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 95 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Exterior Design
Built with practical cruising in mind, Al Di La features low-maintenance fiberglass decks finished with non-skid forward and teak surfaces in the cockpit and on the aft steps. Stainless steel safety rails run the length of the decks, with hinged stanchions at key points to ease access. Boarding is possible from either side via port and starboard doors.
At the stern, the custom fishing and diving cockpit is designed for versatility. It includes a dedicated fuel tank with pump and hose for tender refueling, a live bait well, integrated deck washdown, and a large iceable fish box. Dedicated storage caters for outriggers, a fighting chair, crab cooker, and crab pots, while a transom door enables smooth access to the swim platform or for hauling in a catch. A custom tow bridle and line are installed for towing a tender, and there's built-in tackle storage alongside rod holders fitted under the aft deck overhead.
The integrated swim platform features a built-in ladder, pop-up cleats, and removable staples to ease boarding. A Freeman watertight door leads through to the lazarette, crew quarters, and engine room. Up front, a Portuguese bridge offers seating and storage, while forward deck lockers are heated and house shore power, TV, phone, and water connections.
Deck gear includes twin Maxwell 4500VWC hydraulic windlasses, a 178kg (392lb) Bruce-style main anchor with 139m (455ft) of 13mm (½in) chain, and a secondary 110kg (243lb) CQR anchor on 107m (350ft) of chain. Triple Kahlenberg air horns, international nav lights, flood lighting with dimmers, and an aft deck camera are also installed. The Steelhead 2500CT hydraulic davit launches the tender from either side or the stern.
On the bridge deck, there’s a built-in 76cm (30in) stainless steel propane BBQ. For open-air comfort, a full bimini top and enclosure can be set up over the cockpit. The main tender reaches speeds of up to 50 knots and includes its own trolling motor, nav instruments, shower, fish tank, and a full towing setup.
Interior Design
The interior of Al Di La showcases high-end finishes including granite countertops, Sapele wood with burl inlays, cherry and holly sole, etched frameless glass, and cedar-lined lockers. These finishes carry through every living space, reinforcing the yacht’s bespoke build quality.
The galley is located on the main deck in a raised position and has been laid out with both entertaining and practicality in mind. A generous L-shaped work surface in durable marble is paired with double stainless steel sinks and thoughtfully positioned lighting. Storage is well accounted for, with a full pantry and additional cabinetry to starboard doubling as a bar with freezers beneath.
Aft of the galley, the main saloon offers a warm, relaxed atmosphere. A custom fireplace anchors the forward bulkhead, concealing a 107cm (42in) flat-screen TV on a lift, supported by a surround sound system. Furnishings include a residential-style sofa, matching armchair, and a pair of leather recliners, all arranged to enjoy the natural light from wraparound windows.
Double doors lead aft onto the covered cockpit, which features a granite dining table, polished stainless support columns, and a sliding overhead hatch. The port side includes a built-in cabinet with sink and heated storage. Molded stairs to the boat deck are just aft to port, while curved staircases port and starboard descend to the oversized swim platform.
Aft of the pilothouse, stairs lead up to the skylounge. This elevated space combines expansive views with functional design, offering an upper helm station with twin Crown chairs, a raised L-shaped settee with a granite dining table, and a bar with storage to port. Skylights overhead provide natural light, and a day head with sink is positioned opposite. An aft door leads to the boat deck with tender chocks, storage lockers, and access stairs to the main deck below.
Accommodation
Al Di La accommodates 8 to 10 guests across five ensuite cabins, including a flexible crew space that doubles as an additional guest suite. There are a total of five enclosed bathrooms with separate stall showers, plus an additional day head on the skylounge level.
The full-beam master stateroom is positioned amidships on the lower deck. It features a walk-around king bed with a mirrored headboard and bulkhead, built-in settee, vanity with lit mirror, and television. Shoji-style sliding screens soften the light through opening portlights. A large walk-in cedar-lined wardrobe offers keyless-entry safe access and a discreet passageway to the guest cabins. The ensuite bathroom includes a private stall shower.
Forward, the VIP stateroom is fitted with a centreline queen bed and twin overhead hatches with blackout shades. The space includes underbed storage, twin cedar-lined wardrobes, a built-in TV, ambient and reading lights, and its own ensuite shower room.
To port is a guest cabin with twin side-by-side berths set athwartships, complete with storage underneath, TV, two cedar-lined wardrobes, and an ensuite with stall shower. Shoji-style screens cover the portlights.
Opposite, the fourth guest cabin is arranged in a bunk format with over-and-under single berths, reading lights, a built-in 43cm (17in) TV, and its own ensuite shower room.
The crew area is finished to guest standard and may be used as a fifth stateroom. It includes a double berth with storage beneath (housing spare propellers), a private ensuite with shower and etched glass door, hanging locker, and a compact galley area with sink, microwave, and fridge. A 36cm (14in) TV with satellite receiver is installed, and the space includes its own air conditioning control. An adjacent workroom with a bench is located to starboard for onboard maintenance and storage.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (C18) 1,015hp engines, motor yacht Al Di La is capable of reaching a top speed of 20 knots, and comfortably cruises at 10 knots. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.
