Key Features

  • 30.2m (99ft) Posillipo Technema 95
  • Upper deck Jacuzzi
  • Hydraulic swim platform
  • 28-knot top speed

Design & Construction

Designed around a planing GRP hull and superstructure she features a 6.76m beam and a 3.08m draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 163 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Exterior Design

The 30.2m (99ft) Posillipo Technema 95 Albator 2 carries the flowing, sporty lines that defined Carlo Galeazzi’s Technema series. Her profile uses a sweeping sheerline that falls gradually from the high bow toward the open aft cockpit, so the yacht keeps a lean, low stance despite the volume packed inside. A long strip of dark wraparound glazing stretches across the main deck and merges into the forward deckhouse, visually lengthening the superstructure and giving the yacht a clean, uninterrupted side profile.

The flybridge structure curves gently aft and sits low against the hull, while the tiered superstructure avoids the boxy appearance common on older tri-deck yachts. The forward sections remain sleek and slightly aggressive, helped by the narrow foredeck glazing and tapered coachroof lines. From above, the yacht’s walkaround arrangement becomes clearer, with broad side decks linking the exterior spaces from stern to bow.

Exterior living areas focus heavily on open-air use. The expansive flybridge includes a Jacuzzi, loose lounge seating, sunpads and open deck space aft, while the main deck aft has a shaded al fresco dining setup close to the saloon entrance. Forward, the bow offers additional seating and sunbathing space with clear sightlines over the water.

Albator 2 also benefits from a rare modification within the Posillipo 95 series. She is the only example converted with a hydraulic swim platform and integrated tender garage. This setup improves water access and toy handling while keeping the stern visually clean when closed. Her shallow 1.9m (6.2ft) draft also suits coastal cruising and anchoring closer to shore.

Interior Design

Albator 2 combines classic high-gloss Italian joinery with softer contemporary updates introduced during her 2020 and 2023-2024 refits. Rich lacquered wood panelling runs throughout the saloon and guest spaces, contrasted by cream upholstery, pale headlining panels and lighter carpeting to keep the interiors bright rather than overly formal.

The main saloon has a broad lounge arrangement centred around a large L-shaped sofa and glass coffee table, while the dining area forward seats eight guests beneath circular recessed ceiling detailing. Large side windows draw natural light into the space, softening the darker timber finishes and opening up the room visually.

The upper deck introduces a more relaxed social setting, with an interior television lounge positioned beside direct access to the exterior Jacuzzi deck. This arrangement creates a second entertaining area separate from the formal main saloon below.

Across the yacht, the styling stays balanced and practical rather than heavily decorative. Curved cabinetry, polished timber surfaces and padded wall panels keep the atmosphere warm and traditionally Mediterranean in tone. The broker notes the yacht’s “timeless styling” and relaxed feel, which comes through in the uncluttered layouts and generous seating areas.

Accommodation

Albator 2 accommodates up to 12 guests across five cabins, while separate quarters support a crew of five. The arrangement combines a main deck VIP with four additional guest cabins below, giving the yacht flexibility for charter use or large family cruising.

The full-beam owner’s suite sits amidships on the lower deck and stretches across the yacht’s 6.8m (22.3ft) beam. The cabin includes a queen-sized bed, substantial wardrobe storage and a spacious en suite bathroom. Large hull windows bring natural light into the room, which helps offset the darker timber finishes.

Guest accommodation also includes a VIP cabin, a double cabin and two twin cabins with Pullman berths, allowing the layout to sleep additional children or occasional guests. Every guest cabin has its own en suite bathroom.

An additional en suite VIP cabin sits on the main deck, offering easier access and more privacy for principal guests or older family members. Throughout the accommodation spaces, the styling follows the same warm timber-heavy finish seen in the saloon, paired with cream soft furnishings and padded detailing.

Crew accommodation for five sits separately from the guest areas, supporting privacy and smoother onboard service during extended cruising or charter operations.

Performance & Capabilities

Motor yacht Albator 2 is capable of reaching a top speed of 28 knots, and comfortably cruises at 24 knots. Her planing hull design means she is fast and efficient as she slices through the water.
