Design & Construction
Designed around a catamaran composite hull and a GRP superstructure she features a 12m beam and a 1.7m draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 110 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Exterior Design
Asante reimagines the 80 Sunreef Power as something more than a luxury cruising catamaran. Created in partnership with Omenaa Mensah, the OmenaArt Foundation and Phenomenaa Gallery, she is the first Sunreef to serve as a floating gallery, where architecture, contemporary art and philanthropy form part of a single concept. Even before stepping aboard, the bronze metallic finish sets her apart from the predominantly white yachts in the series, giving the broad catamaran profile a richer, more sculptural appearance.
The yacht retains the defining characteristics of the 80 Sunreef Power. Near-vertical bows, a substantial 12m (39.4ft) beam and a full-height superstructure maximise internal volume, while long bands of glazing and an integrated flybridge reduce visual bulk. The flybridge roof appears to float above slender supports, and the strong horizontal lines draw the eye along the yacht's length despite its considerable beam. Wide side decks, generous foredeck lounging areas and the expansive aft cockpit all benefit from the extra deck space that the twin-hull platform provides.
The 80 Sunreef Power represented an important milestone for the Polish builder. Rather than adapting one of its sailing catamarans, Sunreef developed the model from the outset as a power yacht, optimising the hulls, weight distribution and internal layout specifically for motor propulsion. The result combines the living space of a much larger monohull with the stability and efficiency that have become central to the appeal of luxury power catamarans.
On Asante, that platform becomes the foundation for a much broader idea. The exterior provides the scale, volume and uninterrupted interior spaces needed for a yacht where the collection on board is as important to the owner's vision as the cruising itself.
Interior Design
Asante is unlike any other Sunreef 80 Power because the interior was conceived as a permanent exhibition rather than a yacht decorated with artwork after completion. Developed with Omenaa Mensah, the OmenaArt Foundation and Phenomenaa Gallery, the project treats the yacht as a floating gallery, with contemporary works integrated into the layout from the outset.
The collection accompanies guests through the yacht instead of occupying a single room. Ernestina Mansa Doku's Moonlight Gaze (2025) anchors the main saloon, where its vivid blues stand out against dark walnut joinery and soft neutral furnishings. Bhuvanesh Gowda's 2024 sculpture sits on the marble cabinetry as a sculptural centrepiece, while Kristie Arias' woven textile work ROJO ENROJECIDO II (2023) introduces colour and craftsmanship that contrasts with the yacht's restrained material palette. Circulation spaces also become gallery spaces. Kwaku Yaro's Ama Kiki (2025) draws the eye down the companionway, Emmanuel Patterson's Inside Out (2025) transforms the stairwell into an installation, and a traditional Ghanaian mask reflects the cultural roots behind the yacht's name.
Away from the artwork, the interior follows the contemporary direction established by Sunreef while adding a warmer, more residential feel. Walnut cabinetry, broad stone surfaces, smoked glass and indirect lighting create depth without becoming heavy, and full-height glazing across the saloon keeps the sea in constant view. The bathrooms continue the same approach with boldly veined natural stone, floating timber vanities and black fittings that give the spaces a boutique hotel character.
Accommodation
Asante accommodates up to eight guests in four ensuite cabins within the twin hulls of the Sunreef 80 Power. The catamaran's 12m (39.4ft) beam allows each suite to occupy more usable floor area than a comparable monohull of similar length, with wide passageways, generous storage and large hull windows bringing in natural light at water level.
The full-beam owner's suite takes advantage of the starboard hull, where the additional width creates space for a private lounge and dressing area alongside the bedroom. Guest accommodation follows the same contemporary design language as the rest of the yacht, with warm timber finishes, understated fabrics and carefully selected artwork extending the gallery concept into the private spaces. The ensuite bathrooms stand out for their dramatic natural stone, floating timber vanities and black fittings, creating a boutique feel.
Performance & Capabilities
Motor yacht Asante is capable of reaching a top speed of 22 knots, and comfortably cruises at 15 knots. With her 16,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 3,500 nautical miles at 14 knots.
