The 37.8m motor yacht Blu was delivered to her owners in 1979 by Breaux Baycraft. Her naval architecture and exterior design comes from the drawing boards of Breaux Baycraft.
Design & Construction
Designed around a semi-displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 7.62m beam and a 1.35m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 213 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Accommodation
Blu offers accommodation for up to 8 guests in 4 suites comprising an owners cabin, 1 VIP cabin, 1 double cabin and 1 twin cabin. She is also capable of carrying up to 7 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by 4 x diesel John Deere (61355FM75) 650hp engines, motor yacht Blu is capable of reaching a top speed of 20 knots, and comfortably cruises at 14 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.
Amenities
In addition, a swim platform is on hand for guests looking to cool off in the sea. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort. Blu also features a deck jacuzzi for cooling off and an inviting spread of sunpads.
