Emotional is a 53m motor yacht delivered by Dutch shipyard Damen Yachting in 2025. Damen Yachting is responsible for the complete look and feel of the superyacht, having created the interior design, exterior styling and naval architecture.

Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 8.7m beam and a 3.05m draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 497 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Construction started in late 2023. The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards. Launched in March 2025 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in August 2025.
Exterior Design
The exterior of the Damen 5303 has a focus on modern utility with a sharp, angular design. The axe bow is engineered for efficiency, allowing the vessel to cut through waves with minimal vertical motion. The high bow and pronounced spray rails are practical features that keep the deck dry, shielding equipment from saltwater in challenging conditions.
Forward-raking windows on the pilot house are incorporated to improve visibility in bad weather, reduce nighttime glare, diminish heat, and maximize usable interior space.
The exterior space of the YS53 is highly adaptable to different conditions. The large open aft platform provides over 200 sqm of space to support a variety of activities, from launching tenders and toys with its 15-tonne crane to hosting events. This deck is also reinforced to allow for Touch & Go helicopter operations.
Accommodation
The Damen 5303 yacht offers a carefully considered accommodation layout designed for a support crew of ~11 crew members in up to six cabins. These include four double cabins and two officer cabins, all featuring portholes for natural light. The lower deck spans 120 square meters, offering a spacious crew mess and pantry area, which supports the crew in maintaining high service standards while ensuring their comfort and well-being during their time on board.
Performance & Capabilities
Motor yacht Emotional is capable of reaching a top speed of 19 knots, and comfortably cruises at 12 knots. With her 155,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 5,000 nautical miles at 12 knots.
