Design & Construction
Designed around a planing GRP hull and superstructure she features a 6.55m beam and a 2.13m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 101 GT (Gross Tonnes).
She was delivered to her owners in August 2018.
Exterior Design
Larriane Mae features an aft cockpit equipped with practical amenities such as a small basin and sink for washing hands, which is convenient after handling mooring lines. The mooring winches and storage for lines are designed to prevent the teak deck from getting dirty. Safety is addressed with lockable doors to keep children secure.
The aft area includes a sofa and two director chairs. The table in this space is well-maintained, stored in a dry space during the off-season to preserve its condition. The third station offers engine controls, hydraulic thrusters for bow and stern, and controls for the gangway and hydraulic bathing platform.
The flybridge is another highlight, featuring a helm station with a steering wheel, engine controls, and multi-function displays. This area also includes a bar with a top-loaded fridge, sink, ice maker, and additional cold storage. The dining table on the flybridge is large and has U-shaped seating. The roof is retractable, allowing for sun exposure with the touch of a button.
At the front deck, there is a lounge table and a double anchor winch configuration. Sunbathing cushions with folding backrests offer comfort, and there is ample storage space within the side bulwarks.
The Larriane Mae is equipped with a hydraulic lifting platform that submerges into the water, providing easy access to the 445 Williams turbojet tender. The flybridge also houses a jet ski with a crane for additional water sports activities.
Larriane Mae features a raked bow which aids in navigating through various sea conditions efficiently. The deck is constructed from durable teak, offering a sturdy and reliable surface for activities on board. The hull and superstructure are both finished in a clean, white color, providing a cohesive and straightforward aesthetic. The boot top and the area below the waterline are colored black, creating a practical contrast that emphasizes the yacht's sleek profile.
Interior Design
The main saloon is spacious, with a sofa enclosed by a carpet that offers a soft feel underfoot. The seating arrangement allows for a clear view through the side windows, providing a pleasant experience while seated. The use of Wenge dark wood with a high gloss lacquer finish adds a touch of sophistication to the space.
A standout feature in the saloon is the sliding side door on the starboard side, complemented by a hydraulic fold-out balcony. This design facilitates an unobstructed view and easy access to fresh air. The dining table, capable of seating up to eight people, is also crafted from dark Wenge wood with a high gloss finish. Curtains are available to block out light when necessary.
The galley is designed with efficiency in mind, featuring an L-shaped layout that provides ample space for the crew and chef to operate. It includes plenty of storage options, natural light, and all necessary appliances, such as a dishwasher and sufficient cold storage.
The helm station, located in the raised pilot house, is well-organized and equipped with essential navigational tools. This area includes engine control levers with protective covers, a trim tab joystick, an autopilot, VHF radio, and a FLIR night vision camera. The three Simrad multi-function displays offer a comprehensive overview, including rudder angle indicators and a stabilizer side power display. The helm station is designed to provide the operator with a clear and efficient workspace, enhancing the yacht's navigational capabilities.
Accommodation
Larriane Mae offers accommodation for up to 10 guests in five suites. Located on the main deck, the master cabin is a spacious suite equipped with a large bed, a low-slung sofa, and a desk that can double as a vanity table. The cabin boasts large windows that flood the room with natural light and offer a clear view of the surroundings. The ensuite bathroom is well-appointed, featuring a shower and ample storage space.
Larriane Mae has two VIP cabins on the lower deck, each offering a large bed and an ensuite bathroom with a shower. The cabins are mirrored, providing a consistent design and layout. Both VIP cabins feature large windows and traditional portholes that can be opened for fresh air.
Additionally, there are two twin cabins, also located on the lower deck. These cabins come with beds that can slide together to form a double bed if needed. Each twin cabin has its own ensuite bathroom with a shower and large windows that allow for natural light.
Larriane Mae provides comfortable accommodation for up to four crew members, ensuring discreet and efficient service.
