Nixie is a 102.4m motor yacht delivered by German shipyard Lurssen in 2026. Her interior design and exterior styling comes from the drawing boards of RWD, while Lurssen is responsible for her naval architecture.

Design & Construction

Designed around a full displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 15m beam and a 3.9m draft. The yacht is built over 5 decks with an internal volume of 3,420 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Construction started in early 2023 with the keel laid under the project name 'Jassi'. The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards. Launched in February 2026 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in June 2026.

Exterior Design

At 102.4m (335.9ft), Nixie belongs to a new generation of large Lürssen yachts that use proportion and surface treatment to create presence without relying on visual complexity.

Designed by RWD, the yacht has an exceptionally long, low profile for her length. The foredeck stretches well forward of the superstructure, allowing the upper decks to sit farther aft and creating a strong sense of balance across the silhouette. Combined with the fine entry and pronounced bow flare, Nixie appears elegant and refined.

The foredeck is kept deliberately clean, with the helicopter landing area occupying much of the owner’s deck forward. It is certified for Airbus H135 operations in daylight and visual flight rule conditions, while the same open deck becomes a sports court when the aircraft is away.

One of the defining features is the way the decks are layered. Each level projects slightly beyond the one beneath it, creating broad overhangs that provide shade while giving the superstructure a light, floating appearance. Dark glazing wraps around each deck level, while rounded corners soften the yacht's considerable volume. From astern, the terraces appear almost architectural, each level flowing naturally into the next.

Large sections of curved glass run almost uninterrupted from bow to stern, bringing natural light deep into the interior and preserving wide views across the water. Curved corner glazing wraps around the aft sections of several decks, extending sightlines diagonally across the stern as well as out to sea. The technical equipment is concentrated around the slender central mast, keeping the upper profile remarkably clean.

Aft, the decks cascade towards the sea through a series of curved terraces. The arrangement centres on a 7.5m (24.6ft) glass bottom infinity pool before stepping down to the 126m² (1,356ft²) beach club, where fold down balconies open directly over the water. Broad twin staircases link the beach club, pool deck and upper lounges, while integrated lighting beneath steps, seating and overhangs gives the stern another layer of detail after dark.

Interior Design

RWD has carried the calm architectural language of the exterior into an interior built around light, natural materials and generous volume. Full height glazing floods the living spaces with daylight, while light woods, soft cream tones, Calacatta marble, travertine, bouclé and nubuck leather create a restrained, tactile palette.

The interior relies heavily on craftsmanship and sculptural form. A sweeping travertine spiral staircase links the guest decks as both a circulation route and an architectural centrepiece, while bespoke furniture and individually selected marble slabs give the principal rooms their own identity. Floor to ceiling glazing continues around the aft corners of the main living spaces, borrowing views from both the side decks and stern. A guest elevator serves every deck.

The same attention to natural light reaches the owner’s apartment, where a skylight brings daylight in from above. The owner's deck combines dining, a sky lounge, bar and several outdoor seating areas around the private accommodation, while the main deck has a more relaxed family lounge connected closely with the aft terraces and pool.

Accommodation

Nixie has 10 guest suites, with the owner's private apartment and three VIP cabins on the owner's deck, followed by four doubles and two twins on the main deck. The detailed accommodation description lists the yacht for up to 12 guests.

The owner's apartment occupies the forward part of its deck and includes a private study, two dressing rooms and separate his and hers bathrooms. Between them are twin bathtubs and two steam showers, while the overhead skylight adds another source of natural light.

Three VIP suites share the owner's deck, while six further guest cabins sit on the main deck, arranged as four doubles and two twins, all en suite. Crew accommodation is spread across 20 cabins for a complement of around 34.

Performance & Capabilities

Nixie is a full displacement yacht powered by twin 2,560kW MTU diesels producing around 3,433hp each. Maximum speed is 17.3 knots, while at her 12 knot cruising speed she has a quoted range of around 6,000nm from 289,400 litres of fuel.

Five blade fixed pitch propellers and Becker twisted rudders handle propulsion and steering, with a 300kW bow thruster and Voith stern thruster assisting during close quarters manoeuvring. Quantum stabilisers provide additional comfort at anchor.

Leisure & Entertainment

Nixie has been arranged so that each deck offers a different style of entertaining. The bridge deck combines relaxed seating around a fire pit with a full outdoor projection system, while the dedicated indoor cinema uses an 85in 8K screen with 7.2 surround sound.

The owner's deck balances formal and informal entertaining with multiple lounges, bars and dining areas, including a dedicated teppanyaki station that brings chefs into the centre of the experience. On the main deck, the aft terraces revolve around the elevated glass bottom infinity pool, which serves as both the focal point of the outdoor spaces above and a skylight for the beach club below.

The commercial helipad doubles as a sports court when aircraft are not aboard, adding another very large open space without compromising the yacht's aviation capability.

Wellness

Wellbeing is spread through several decks instead of being confined to one spa.

The sun deck has a dedicated spa with sauna, steam room, massage room and beauty salon. Aft, the atmosphere changes to open air relaxation with a Jacuzzi, loungers and shaded seating.

Below, the 144m² (1,550ft²) gym has two fold down balconies that bring fresh air and sea views into the training space. Equipment includes dedicated cardio and strength machines, while a cryotherapy chamber adds a more specialised recovery option.

At water level, the 126m² (1,356ft²) beach club has a bar, lounge and dining area, with folding terraces opening directly over the sea. The glass bottom pool above brings daylight into the space and creates a visual link with the deck above. A dedicated hospital room on the lower deck adds a separate medical facility for longer cruises and charter programmes.

Tenders

Nixie carries an extensive collection of tenders and water toys to match her charter ambitions. Guest transfers are handled by either a 34ft Scorpion or a 34ft Hodgdon limousine tender, supported by additional RIBs and a dedicated ski boat for watersports.

The toy inventory includes jet skis, Seabobs, Fliteboards and a wide selection of towable inflatables, together with an inflatable dock, jellyfish pool and blob launcher that extend the beach club well beyond the swim platform. The yacht also operates an approved RYA watersports centre, supported by a crew of 34 whose specialist roles cover hospitality, wellness and watersports instruction.
