Cannes, FranceThe 36.9m motor yacht Jules was delivered to her owners in 2025 by Italian shipyard Benetti. The yacht's exteriors have been penned by Stefano Righini, while Benetti has designed her interiors.

Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 8.6m beam and a 2.5m draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 431 GT (Gross Tonnes).
This was the fifth yacht built on the B.Yond 37M design. She was completed at Benetti's Livorno yard in Italy where she was commissioned and delivered to her owners.
Exterior Design
Jules has a tall, substantial profile for a 36.9m (121.1ft) yacht, and Benetti has used that height hard. Four full decks sit above a deep steel hull and broad 8.6m (28.2ft) beam, giving the yacht far more internal volume than her length suggests. Stefano Righini breaks up that height with long bands of dark glazing and upper decks that step back gently as they rise.
That height buys Jules a lot as the upper decks sit well above the water and the glazing runs almost continuously around the living spaces, while the bow carries enough volume to feel more like a small ship than a conventional 37m motor yacht. It suits the B.Yond idea nicely: this is a boat intended to stay away for a while, not simply shuttle between beach clubs.
A lot of the interesting exterior space has been spread around the yacht instead of stacked aft. The foredeck has its own spa pool, daybeds and seating tucked behind high bulwarks, so it feels private and quite separate from whatever is happening at the stern. The sundeck adds another full social area with shaded dining, forward-facing bar stools and built-in seating aft.
The main deck is the odd one out, as Jules gives some of it over to tender storage, with two smaller interior rooms nearby that can work as a lounge or office. That may sound less glamorous than another saloon, but on a yacht designed for longer trips it is exactly the sort of space that earns its keep.
Down at water level there is still room for a beach club with a sauna, which is no small feat on a 37m yacht already carrying serious tender storage. The stern therefore works as a leisure area once the toys are out, while the larger social spaces remain one or two decks above.
Interior Design
Benetti's in-house team has kept the interior warm and contemporary without turning it into a hotel lobby. The large windows do a lot of the heavy lifting, especially on the upper levels, where the main saloon and dining spaces sit high enough to get broad views out over the water.
The biggest departure from the usual 37m layout is the owner’s accommodation. Jules puts the master suite high in the yacht and gives it a private lounge and its own exterior deck, effectively turning an entire level into an owner’s retreat. That is a much bigger deal than simply moving the bedroom upstairs, because the whole hierarchy of the interior changes with it.
With the owner out of the main deck, Benetti has been able to use that level differently. Two smaller rooms can work as lounges or offices, which gives the yacht more flexibility for long stays aboard. A private study, a reading room or somewhere to disappear with a laptop is arguably more useful on a month-long cruise than another oversized reception room nobody uses.
The principal saloon sits higher up, with several seating areas, a bar and formal dining all sharing the same level. Double doors open aft to another lounge outside, so the space can stretch straight through when the weather is good.
Accommodation
Jules accommodates up to 12 guests in six cabins, with space for up to nine crew.
The owner’s suite is the star of the layout, taking a high, private position with its own lounge and exterior deck. It is a much more secluded arrangement than the familiar forward-main-deck master, especially when other guests are using the saloons and aft terraces below.
Five further double cabins take the remaining guests, all with en suite bathrooms. That gives Jules a full 12-guest layout without forcing the owner to share the main guest deck.
Performance & Capabilities
Twin MAN diesels give Jules a top speed of 14 knots and a cruising speed of around 12.5 knots, while easing back to 10 knots extends the range to 5,000nm. For a 36.9m (121.1ft) steel displacement yacht, that gives her useful reach for long passages and extended cruising without chasing speed she simply does not need.
The hybrid system adds more flexibility at low speed and at anchor, where electrical power can reduce engine hours, fuel use and onboard noise. The main diesels remain available for longer passages, while the electrical side takes care of more of the quieter, lower-load work.
With 5,000nm of range, a steel hull and hybrid propulsion, Jules has the machinery to match the way the rest of the yacht is laid out: long stays aboard, plenty of autonomy and fewer reasons to hurry back to port.
