Design & Construction
Designed around a full displacement aluminium hull and superstructure she features a 8.94m beam and a 2.92m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 474 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Construction started in late 1984. She was delivered to her owners in April 1986.
Exterior Design
The 45.03m (147.7ft) motor yacht Lady Rose has a classic tri-deck profile with a strong, upright stance and a high bow, and from the image the hull carries a dark blue finish with a fine red boot stripe, paired with a white superstructure and teak-capped bulwarks.
The bow is broad and open, with a flush foredeck that allows clear working space around the anchoring gear, while the railings run full perimeter, so movement forward remains safe and direct. The superstructure steps progressively aft across three clear deck levels, with long horizontal window bands on the main and upper decks bringing light into the interior.
The bridge deck is enclosed forward with raked glazing and extends aft to an open deck area, while above, the mast structure supports radar domes and communication equipment without adding visual weight. The uppermost deck is used for tender and toy storage, visible aft, with cranes integrated into the layout.
Aft on the main deck, the overhang from the bridge deck creates a shaded cockpit area, while the transom sits low to the water, giving straightforward access for boarding and water use.
Accommodation
Lady Rose accommodates up to 12 guests across seven cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 11 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
The master suite sits on the main deck and includes a private study and dressing room, so it forms a self-contained owner’s space with clear separation from guest areas.
On the lower deck, four guest cabins provide the main guest accommodation, each with good natural light through hull windows and en suite bathrooms.
Two additional single cabins are located on the upper deck, each with en suite facilities, which allows flexibility for staff, additional guests, or family use.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (3512TA) 12-cylinder 1,150hp engines, motor yacht Lady Rose is capable of reaching a top speed of 15 knots, and comfortably cruises at 13 knots. With her 95,660 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 7,300 nautical miles at 11 knots.
