The 27.9m motor yacht Mocean was delivered to her owners in 2009 by Jade Yachts. Her interior design and exterior styling comes from the drawing boards of JC Espinosa, while Vripack is responsible for her naval architecture.

Design & Construction
Designed around a steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 7.7m beam and a 2.55m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 226 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Exterior Design
Mocean's side doors allow easy access on and off the vessel, facilitating smooth movement for guests and crew. The main deck offers a spacious area for relaxation and dining, with plenty of storage for personal items and supplies.
Mocean's bow includes twin anchor winches and a bosun's locker, housing essential deck gear. The size and robustness of the cleats and other fittings reflect the yacht's capability as a serious explorer vessel. The Portuguese bridge provides a secure walkway around the front of the yacht, enhancing safety and accessibility. The area is versatile, with multiple zones for different activities.
Further up, the top deck includes a bar area with refrigeration, ice maker, and cooking facilities, along with shaded seating and an upper helm position. The upper helm position provides excellent visibility and control, complemented by a shaded daybed area that offers comfort during navigation.
The exterior also includes a garage with a Williams 385 tender and a jet ski, both stored in a flooding compartment for easy launch and retrieval. The aft deck is spacious, providing a comfortable area for guests to enjoy the surroundings.
Interior Design
The interior is marked by high-quality woodwork, which gives Mocean a warm and inviting feel. The craftsmanship is evident in the details, from the cabinetry to the trim, all of which contribute to a cohesive and refined look. The materials used throughout the yacht are durable and chosen for both their visual appeal and practical application.
The galley features ample refrigeration units, a large hob, and plenty of countertop space for meal preparation. The layout ensures that everything is within easy reach, making it a practical area for both everyday cooking and entertaining. The side door offers direct access to the foredeck and cockpit, facilitating easy movement for the crew.
The helm station is a functional space that prioritizes visibility and control. Equipped with modern navigation tools and a clear view screen, it ensures safe and efficient operation. The dual seating arrangement allows for comfortable navigation, while the layout offers easy access to all essential controls and instruments.
The main saloon is designed with comfort and practicality in mind. The low-key woodwork and thoughtfully arranged furniture create a welcoming environment. The area includes a retractable TV and a dining space that exudes a homely feel. The upper deck features an additional seating area that can be converted into a private cabin, complete with a piano and a day head with a shower.
Accommodation
Mocean can accommodate a total of six guests in three cabins. Located on the main deck, the owner's cabin is full-beam, providing ample space and natural light from windows on both sides. The cabin features his and hers walk-in wardrobes, a dressing table, and a large en-suite bathroom with a separate shower, toilet, and expansive storage.
The VIP cabin, situated on the lower deck, is notable for its direct access to the crew area, which simplifies service and maintenance. This cabin boasts a spacious layout and a well-appointed en-suite bathroom, offering a high level of comfort and privacy. There are two additional guest cabins on the lower deck, each with its own en-suite bathroom.
She is also capable of carrying up to four crew onboard. The crew quarters also include a mess area and a laundry room, ensuring that the crew has all necessary amenities for long voyages.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MAN (D2842 LE 410) 1,100hp engines, motor yacht Mocean is capable of reaching a top speed of 12 knots, and comfortably cruises at 9 knots. With her 35,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 3,200 nautical miles at 10 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters.
