Design & Construction
Designed around a fast displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 12.5m beam and a 3.6m draft. The yacht is built over 6 decks with an internal volume of 2,200 GT (Gross Tonnes).
This was the eighth yacht built on the Amels 80 design. The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards. She was completed at Amels' Damen Shipyard Galati yard in Romania where she was commissioned and delivered to her owners.
Exterior Design
Project Altitude uses the same Espen Øino exterior architecture as the wider Amels 80 series, with a very full bow, long uninterrupted hull sides and a superstructure that steps back sharply as it rises. The profile is quite restrained for a yacht of this scale, relying on long bands of glazing and broad white deck edges rather than lots of separate styling details.
The aft half is where the design becomes much more open. Several guest decks step down towards the water, and each level has a different job rather than repeating the same lounge arrangement. The lowest terrace sits close to the sea, while the decks above become progressively larger and more sheltered.
A substantial pool occupies one of the main aft guest decks. It sits directly across the stern rather than being pushed into a corner, with broad teak areas around it and a large indoor lounge immediately forward. This makes the pool deck part of the yacht's main social circulation rather than a destination reached by going up to the sundeck.
The uppermost outdoor areas take a different approach. The deck plan places a circular spa pool within a large forward-facing terrace and leaves plenty of open deck around it, while farther aft there is space for dining and lounging. The result is several outdoor areas with genuinely different outlooks and levels of privacy.
The long foredeck remains largely clear, with the Amels 80's helicopter capability kept away from the main guest terraces aft. That separation works especially well on a yacht with this much outdoor space because aviation operations do not take over the decks guests are most likely to use at anchor.
Project Altitude also carries much of its tender handling away from the stern. The arrangement shows two substantial tenders stored side by side within the forward part of the yacht, with dedicated handling equipment alongside. Keeping them out of the aft end allows the stern to remain almost entirely guest-focused.
Interior Design
Project Altitude's internal arrangement makes good use of the Amels 80 platform's considerable vertical spread. Rather than relying on one enormous main saloon, the yacht is divided into several living areas across different decks, so guests can use one part of the yacht without everyone ending up in the same room.
The main guest spaces are closely connected to the aft terraces. One large saloon opens directly onto the pool deck, while upper levels provide additional indoor lounges alongside dining and outdoor seating. That gives the yacht a much more residential rhythm, with several rooms serving different times of day.
The layout also devotes a substantial amount of space to service circulation. Pantries, crew corridors, stairs and lifts sit centrally through the yacht, while guest rooms are pushed towards the quieter outer edges. That should allow a crew of 21 to move between accommodation, service rooms and guest areas without constantly crossing the main social spaces.

Project Altitude offers accommodation for up to 14 guests in 7 suites. She is also capable of carrying up to 21 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (3516E A02) 2,682hp engines running at 1600rpm, motor yacht Project Altitude is capable of reaching a top speed of 16 knots, and comfortably cruises at 12 knots. With her 52,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 5,000 nautical miles at 12 knots.
