Design & Construction
Designed around a planing GRP hull and superstructure she features a 6.55m beam and a 2.13m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 98 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Exterior Design
Pura Vida is a 28m (95ft) Sunseeker 95 Yacht, built on a planing GRP hull that pushes the profile low and stretched, while the raised pilothouse lifts the forward structure enough to free up volume on the main deck. The result is a shape that still reads fast, even at rest.
The glazing runs long and dark through the hull and superstructure, so the eye follows a single line from bow to stern, while also feeding light deep into the interior. The starboard side balcony folds down from the main saloon, and when open it changes the feel of the space completely, widening the deck edge and bringing the water right alongside.
Deck areas are clearly defined. The flybridge carries most of the social weight, with a bar, grill, dining table, and lounge seating set under a hardtop with adjustable shade, so it works through the day and into the evening. Forward, the bow is quieter, arranged with sunpads and low seating tucked into the structure, which gives some shelter while underway.
Aft, the cockpit steps down to a hydraulic swim platform that doubles as a launch point and a water-level terrace. Movement between levels is direct and easy, with no awkward transitions, so the yacht feels straightforward to use whether underway or at anchor.
Interior Design
The main deck is built around one open, continuous space, with the saloon aft and dining forward. Large sliding doors and that drop-down balcony keep the outside close, while the glazing brings in steady natural light from both sides.
The look is modern and restrained, with clean surfaces and a focus on usable space rather than decoration. Furniture placement does the work, with a clear lounge zone aft and dining forward, so the space shifts naturally depending on how it’s used.
The raised pilothouse sits above and out of the way, which allows the main deck to stay focused on guests. Forward, the split-level master introduces a change in floor height that breaks up the layout and gives the space a different feel from the rest of the deck.
Accommodation
Pura Vida accommodates up to 8 guests in 4 cabins, with space for 4 crew.
The layout centres on a dual master setup, which is still rare at this size. The main deck owner’s suite sits forward and uses a split-level arrangement, where the bed is raised and the dressing area and en suite sit below, so each function has its own space without needing extra footprint. Large windows and direct access out add to the sense of openness.
A second owner’s cabin sits on the lower deck, offering similar proportions, so there’s flexibility depending on how the yacht is used.
Two twin cabins complete the layout, each with pullman berths, so guest capacity can shift when needed. Crew quarters are kept separate for four, which supports service without crossing into guest areas.
Performance & Capabilities
Motor yacht Pura Vida is capable of reaching a top speed of 26 knots, and comfortably cruises at 24 knots. With her 12,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 1,400 nautical miles at 12 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters. Her planing hull design means she is fast and efficient as she slices through the water.
