Design & Construction
Designed around a fast displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 8.7m beam and a 2.5m draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 434 GT (Gross Tonnes).
This was the first yacht built on the 42M design.
Exterior Design
Sirena 42M/01 is a 42m (137.8ft) flagship with a profile that carries a near-vertical bow, high bulwarks and long recessed glazing bands, while the silver hull and black bootstripe reinforce the horizontal flow across the length.
Forward sections handle anchoring and tender operations with an integrated crane set into a teak deck, and this area transitions into a sunken patio positioned just aft. This recessed space can include a plunge pool, shaded pergola and planting, while direct access from the owner’s suite creates a private outdoor zone. A curved staircase links this level to the upper deck, and a strip of glazing between levels allows light through without closing the space.
Aft sections step down across multiple levels, with fold-down bulwarks extending the beam at the waterline to form a beach club terrace around a central pool. A glass transom keeps sightlines open to the sea, while short stair runs connect the platform, pool deck and shaded main deck lounge. Circulation splits across the yacht, with starboard stairs linking main and upper decks and port stairs continuing to the sundeck.
The sundeck operates as an open social layer, with freestanding furniture aft for flexible lounging, forward sunpads and a shaded dining area positioned beneath the mast structure. This arrangement allows the space to shift between dining, relaxation and open use through the day.
Interior Design
Hot Lab’s interior approach uses a light, desaturated palette and soft geometry to keep spaces open and consistent. Large windows run through the main and upper decks, so natural light reaches deep into the interior, while minimal structural interruption keeps views continuous.
Natural beech and oak sit alongside titanium-effect metals, and fabrics such as cotton and chenille soften the surfaces. This mix keeps the finish balanced without adding weight, while indoor planting and textured surfaces add variation without breaking cohesion.
The main deck is arranged around an aft-facing saloon that connects directly to the exterior pool deck via a short level change, allowing movement between inside and outside without barriers. Forward areas remain flexible, with options for formal dining or a more relaxed setup, while a secondary space to starboard can serve as a lounge, studio or games room.
Circulation areas carry the same design attention, with a concave wall and sculptural staircase shaping the corridor toward the owner’s suite. Curved forms and consistent materials run throughout, so each space has its own identity while staying within a unified design language.
Accommodation
Sirena 42M/01 accommodates up to 10 guests across five cabins. The owner’s suite can be positioned either forward on the main deck or on the upper deck, and when placed forward it opens directly onto the private foredeck patio with optional plunge pool and seating.
Four guest cabins sit on the lower deck, including two VIP cabins with transverse beds separated by wardrobe partitions to maximise space while maintaining privacy. All cabins are en suite, with bathrooms positioned to buffer noise from aft technical areas.
Crew accommodation supports up to 9, with service routes arranged to allow discreet movement between operational and guest areas.
Performance & Capabilities
Motor yacht Sirena 42M/01 is capable of reaching a top speed of 15 knots, and comfortably cruises at 10 knots.
