More Details

Delivered in 2001, Sweet Life is a 94' motor yacht for sale built by American shipyard Hargrave. Her naval architecture and exterior design comes from the drawing boards of Hargrave, while Yacht Interiors by Shelley is responsible for her interior design.

Key Features

  • 28.65m raised pilothouse yacht
  • Full-beam owner’s cabin
  • Enclosed skylounge bridge
  • Open-plan country kitchen

Design & Construction

Designed around a semi-displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 20' beam and a 6' draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 165 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Exterior Design

Sweet Life features a classic raised pilothouse profile developed by Taiwan-based builder Kha Shing Enterprises, with a strong emphasis on practical cruising spaces and interior volume. At 28.65m (94ft), the yacht combines a broad-beam GRP hull with a layered superstructure that gives the exterior a balanced, traditional motor yacht appearance.

The profile has a long forward deck, softly rounded bow sections and clean horizontal lines running through the hull and superstructure. The bridge deck sits high above the main deck with sharply angled glazing wrapping around the enclosed skylounge, giving the yacht a more commanding appearance underway. Wide side decks and relatively high bulwarks add to the secure long-range cruising feel.

Large rectangular windows line the main deck saloon and guest areas, bringing more natural light into the interior while visually stretching the profile. The aft sections remain open and uncluttered, with generous outdoor deck areas arranged for dining, lounging and entertaining. Upper deck spaces flow naturally into the enclosed bridge lounge, creating several separate social zones across the yacht.

Interior Design

The interior of Sweet Life combines traditional yacht craftsmanship with lighter contemporary updates introduced through soft furnishings, flooring and decor. Rich high-gloss timber joinery runs throughout the yacht, particularly across the saloon, skylounge and galley areas, creating a warm and classic atmosphere associated with many high-quality Taiwanese builds of the period.

The main saloon uses a long open-plan arrangement with lounge seating aft and dining positioned forward. Large side windows allow plenty of daylight into the space, while pale carpeting and cream furnishings soften the darker wood tones. An oval mirrored ceiling detail helps break up the ceiling plane and reflects additional light through the room.

One of the yacht’s most distinctive interior spaces is the enclosed skylounge and country kitchen arrangement on the upper deck. Here, sharply angled forward windows wrap around a raised dinette and open galley space, giving wide panoramic views while underway or at anchor. The curved seating layout creates a relaxed social setting that feels more informal than a traditional separate dining room.

Accommodation

Sweet Life accommodates up to 10 guests across five suites, comprising an owner’s cabin, two VIP cabins and two twin cabins. The layout balances family cruising practicality with charter flexibility, allowing a variety of guest arrangements onboard.

The owner’s suite benefits from the yacht’s broad beam and carries the warm timber finish found throughout the interior. VIP cabins provide larger double-bed arrangements for additional guest comfort, while the twin cabins make the layout more adaptable for children, friends or mixed guest groups.

Large windows and lighter soft furnishings help keep the accommodation areas bright despite the traditional wood-heavy styling. En suite facilities support each cabin arrangement, while the yacht’s overall beam provides comfortable circulation between guest areas.

Sweet Life is also capable of carrying up to four crew onboard to support extended cruising.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (3412) 1,400hp engines, motor yacht Sweet Life is capable of reaching a top speed of 16 knots, and comfortably cruises at 12 knots. With her 4,999 gallon fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 2,500 nautical miles at 12 knots. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.

Amenities

Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort. Sweet Life also features an inviting spread of sunpads.
