The 45m motor yacht Unica 45M/ 03 is being constructed by Italian shipyard ISA Yachts and is due to be delivered in 2029. Her interior design and exterior styling comes from the drawing boards of Enrico Gobbi, while ISA Yachts is responsible for her naval architecture.

Key Features

  • 45m ISA steel superyacht
  • Upper deck owner’s suite
  • 4,000nm cruising range
  • Three-level stern beach club
  • 16m (52ft) flybridge social deck
  • Steel hull aluminium superstructure

Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 8.6m beam and a 2.3m draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 430 GT (Gross Tonnes).

This was the third yacht built on the Unica 45M Steel design.

Exterior Design

The Unica 45M profile is shaped by Enrico Gobbi and TEAM for Design with a focus on clean, flowing lines. The silhouette sits low and stretched, while dark glazing bands run through the superstructure so the profile reads as one continuous form from bow to stern.

Large glass surfaces are set into soft, sculpted volumes, and this approach reduces visual bulk while also strengthening the link between interior and exterior. Subtle integrated lighting traces key lines, so the yacht maintains definition at night without adding visual weight.

At the stern, the design steps down across three distinct levels toward the water, and this creates a layered beach club environment that combines sunpads, a pool, and an infinity-style cockpit. Glass balustrades run along the edges, so sightlines remain open while the space still feels contained and usable.

Outdoor areas are central to the concept, and this becomes clear on the upper deck and flybridge. The upper deck extends forward into a large sunpad and lounge zone, while the 16m (52.5ft) flybridge brings together a circular jacuzzi, bar, dining table, and seating areas under a sculpted overhang, so the space works in both sun and shade.

Interior Design

The interior follows the same open, connected approach, with layouts shaped around light and movement rather than separation. Large windows bring in natural light across the main and upper decks, and reduced structural interruption allows spaces to flow into each other more freely.

On the main deck, the formal dining area and main salon sit in close relation, so they can operate as a single entertaining space or as separate zones when needed. While final materials are not fixed, the design direction points toward a contemporary scheme with clean surfaces and warmer tones, so the atmosphere remains balanced rather than stark.

The upper deck continues this logic, with a second lounge and dining area placed closer to the exterior. This creates a more relaxed setting, while still maintaining structure and purpose in the layout.

A gym is also integrated into the main deck, and its placement keeps it within the natural flow of the yacht rather than isolating it as a secondary feature.

Accommodation

The ISA Yachts Unica 45M/03 accommodates up to 12 guests across six cabins, and the layout separates owner, VIP, and guest areas with clear intent.

The owner’s suite is positioned aft on the upper deck, so it benefits from privacy as well as direct access to outdoor areas. It includes a private lounge, a desk with vanity, a walk-in wardrobe, and a large bathroom with double sinks, and the separation of these functions allows the suite to operate as a self-contained space.

On the main deck, a full VIP cabin takes advantage of large side windows, so natural light becomes a key part of the experience. The cabin also includes a walk-in wardrobe and a bathroom with double sinks and a separate shower, which aligns it closely with the owner-level standard.

Below deck, four additional guest cabins are arranged as two VIP doubles and two twins, and all include en suite bathrooms. The layout keeps access simple and direct, so movement between spaces remains efficient.

Crew accommodation is arranged for nine across four double cabins, while the captain’s cabin sits adjacent to the wheelhouse, so operational efficiency is maintained without crossing into guest areas.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (C32) 1,301hp engines, motor yacht Unica 45M/ 03 is capable of reaching a top speed of 15 knots, and comfortably cruises at 14 knots. With her 60,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 4,000 nautical miles at an economic speed of 10 knots.
