Accommodation
The Pershing enjoys a large salon with the emphasis very much on lounging. A U-shape sofa design takes up most of the salon with a small dining area forward, before the powerful-looking triple helm station takes over. On one level, the salon has an easy open feel with massive sections of glass to each aide and a sunroof above.
The four cabin layout includes a full-beam Owner’s cabin with its own lounge and hull-side windows. Forward there is a VIP suite.
On Deck
Pershing’s X range seems to enjoy being strikingly different, the 8X features a spectacular sweep of stairwell up to a sportsbridge which feels more like a sundeck, especially if you don’t option in the helm station.
The aft deck is very much the superyacht lounge with cool minimalist seating and a vast sunpad set within architectural flanks. These are more than stylistic, creating a very safe, private feel to the cockpit and side decks. At the bow, a forward lounge mixes seating with another huge sunpad.
Amenities & Tenders
The 8X design smoothly incorporates a good-size tender garage with space for a RIB and PWC to sit side-by-side.
Performance & Capabilities
Pershing is known for performance and this 8X will hit around 50 knots with its deep vee hull and power coming from the 2400hp or 2600hp versions of the MTU 16V 2000 M96 engine. The twin installation runs on surface drives delivering an eye-catching rooster tail to complete this yacht’s visual power and eccentricities.

Yet another huge leap forward for the new Pershing style, each of its parts designed to amaze, from its interior lines to its technological solutions, through to its performance. One of the most outstanding of its surprising innovations is that the access ladder into the flying bridge is completely built into the unmistakable Pershing wing, transforming the latter from an aesthetic trademark into a functional element, creating more space in the cockpit with a big-impact solution. Double motorization guarantees 45 knots for the standard version and up to 48 knots for the optional version, for truly exciting performance.
Like its predecessor 9X, the new 8X is made of the same material that the most advanced nautical dreams are made of: carbon fibre. This material not only means lighter weight, greater speed, and lower fuel consumption, but also more volume due to the ability to design larger, more comfortable spaces. The on-board comfort is extraordinary, thanks to the many benefits offered by the new system that integrates propulsion control with the manoeuvring, navigation, and monitoring systems. With the new 8X, “piloting” a Pershing, even at high speeds and without the support of the captain, is fun and accessible.
