On Deck
This 2013 Westport 40-meter yacht delivers the full superyacht experience across three expansive decks, with a mix of private lounging, bar areas, and adaptable storage spaces for serious toy stowage. Starting aft, the swim platform features removable staples and pop-up cleats ideal for fenders or connecting inflatable platforms. Twin cable wheels are neatly built into the stern, alongside dual shore power inlets and discreet firefighting equipment.
Moving up, the top deck holds a circular hot tub surrounded by integrated seating, offering a surprisingly private perch despite its elevated position. A compact bar area with deep sinks, fridges, and smart latches on drawers is tucked in nearby. Kayaks and paddleboards are stored high up by the radar mast, with a clever use of removable ladders and secure overhead storage.
The bridge deck is laid out for flexibility, whether you're hauling toys or throwing a dockside party. An 18.5ft tender sits here with a large hydraulic crane, but when cleared, the deck transforms into a gym or open-air gathering space. There's another bar setup here too, complete with electric grill, refrigeration, and workout kit already in place.
Forward, the Portuguese bridge layout continues with high bulwarks that create a safe and imposing profile. Dual anchors and a bow chain locker are flanked by deep storage spaces and oversized windlass remotes. A shaded seating nook forward of the bridge acts as a cigar lounge or wind-cooled retreat for guests and crew alike. Even further forward, there’s a prom-style staircase leading down to the crew deck area.
Wide side decks encircle the main deck, protected by a high overhang and complete with a fully integrated wing station. The controls here include thrusters, engine controls, rudder position, and emergency stops - all neatly shielded and built flush into the bulwarks.
At the aft end of the main deck, there’s generous seating and alfresco dining for eight, paired with another full-service bar. Glass protection keeps the space usable even in poor weather, and soft enclosures could easily convert the area for colder cruising climates.
Interior Accommodation
The interiors reflect Westport’s trademark timelessness. High-gloss and matte woodwork balance rich warmth with an updated feel. The salon features multiple seating areas, including a pop-up TV, card tables, and a bar neatly stocked behind protective cabinetry. Large windows flood the space with natural light and give the room a well-ventilated, residential feel.
The indoor dining area seats six to eight and is positioned forward of the main salon. All china, glassware, silverware, and linens are included with the yacht, with custom drawers and storage built in for easy access. True to Westport’s reputation, even Snap-on tools are supplied in the galley and engineering spaces.
The galley itself is a standout - custom cabinetry built by Boeing, complete with stainless steel framing, commercial-style appliances, and serious chef-level kit. There’s a Northland refrigeration system, Cooktek induction cooktop, Gaggenau ovens, a large grill beneath a full hood, and even a commercial-grade ice maker and trash compactor. The layout supports dual-chef operation, with plenty of prep space and separate pantry-style storage and side deck exit.
Upstairs, the Sky Lounge combines relaxed elegance with office functionality. There's a bar, card table, and seating for six, with built-in cabinetry and a convertible desk space that makes for a discreet home office or Zoom-ready meeting spot. A dayhead and sliding door allow the space to be enclosed for privacy or adapted into an overflow cabin.
On the bridge, five oversized screens span the helm, offering navigation, CCTV, charting, and alarm monitoring. Classic helm styling meets serious functionality here, from polished compasses and VHF radios to joystick steering and sound signal presets.
Owner's Cabin
Located forward on the main deck, the owner's suite benefits from its own private entrance and a quirky feature - a snack door directly into the galley for those late-night cravings. While not full-beam due to the walkaround deck layout, the suite still feels spacious and well-proportioned. There’s a dedicated office space to port that can be enclosed for total privacy.
The bedroom features a king-sized bed, large windows, and his-and-hers walk-in wardrobes. The main en suite includes a double vanity, rain shower, and generous storage. The owner also converted the nearby dayhead into a private secondary toilet, accessible via a sliding door.
Guest Accommodation
Four guest cabins are located on the lower deck, comprising two doubles and two twins, all with en suites. The two VIPs are especially generous - king-sized beds, cedar-lined storage, nearly walk-in wardrobes, and full-sized bathrooms with rain showers, bidets and dual vanities. Headroom throughout is impressive, with 6'8" clearance even in the lower deck spaces.
The twin cabins mirror each other, each with natural light, thoughtful storage, and large private bathrooms. One features a hidden watertight door that connects discreetly to the crew area, streamlining service access and keeping guest areas uncluttered.
Crew Accommodation
The yacht supports a professional crew of six, with capacity for up to eight if needed. Crew quarters include a generous mess, well-equipped with a microwave, sink, and storage. The captain’s cabin features a wider-than-standard bed with substantial storage and its own ensuite. Additional crew cabins include bunk beds and private en suites, each with walk-in showers.
Access between guest and crew areas is carefully thought through. A hidden corridor from the guest cabins leads directly into the laundry and crew zones, enabling quiet service without interrupting guest privacy.
Performance
The lazarette is spacious, air-conditioned, and impressively outfitted for both serious fishing and long-range cruising. A dedicated engineer’s cabin with en suite sits here, alongside fishing rods, dive tanks, dual compressors, and extensive cold storage including a walk-in freezer and extra ice maker.
The engine room is immaculate and fully air-conditioned. Power comes from twin MTU 12V 4000 M73L diesel engines, each delivering 2,896hp. These push the yacht to a top speed of 23 knots and a cruising speed of 18 knots. At 12 knots, her 36,074-liter fuel capacity gives a range of 3,000 nautical miles.
Everything here is oversized and easily accessible - dual-stage turbochargers, massive exhausts, transmission systems, and labeled control panels. There's full walkaround space, air compressors on ceiling reels, and an escape hatch to port. The stainless-steel fuel manifolds, tidy routing, and silent operation suggest a well-maintained yacht with a dedicated crew. Even after 5,000 hours, the engines gleam like new.
In Summary
